Becasue he is not staying there. You can't win in Minn and he knows it and no coach like him is going to stay.

Any "rumored candidates" this early is simply agents getting their clients a raise. Which obviously is what happened here.

You're saying that a grown man, who has all the possible information to make a decision, made the wrong decision. Funny how you have a better grasp of his life than he does.
 
FSU is a different potential program than Minnesota. The access to recruits is just different. If a guy like Fleck can not understand that then I do not know what to tell you. Fleck also signed this contract before he plays Wisconsin, Iowa, and Penn state. Fans will not be happy for long with just 8 wins every year. It is shocking how schools keep giving HC these contracts before they are even close to the end of a contract.

Born and raised in MN....can confirm.
I’m a Gopher fan 2nd (by default) the talent gap between them and Miami is so frustrating when you look at each team’s record. Finally some buzz around the program, PJ comes off as a dork but the kids loves him. He’s got some “Golden” to his persona but doesn’t have the FULL BLOWN used car salesperson Schtick.

I don't send you a comment on trying to tell me (a grown man) how to act. As i said before you act as though you have never had an opinion regarding a grown man before. You are a hypocrite because I know you have. So really everything you say here is insignificant.

I think he is making a mistake...you know that thing that millions upon millions of people make every day even if they have all the information they think they need. Its called being human.

I listened to his whole press conference yesterday on my way home and he enjoys all of the outdoor stuff, Woods and Lake in summer and winter activities. He’s a midwestern guy, cold doesn’t bother him, cold only bothers people from the north once they move to Florida for a year +
