i've been a fan since his senior year. Watched a few games, including playoffs and have defended him on this site. I have NEVER understood the negativity.
Good for him. I watched him play live at TAMU and chase down Achane. couldn't be happier for the kid.

And he just missed sacking Johnson by a hair.....

Should've put our best athlete on defense (JW0), on their best athlete on offense (Achane). Achane is basically Jimbo's Cook. And Steed is alright between the tackles, but He ain't it in space against an athlete like Achane.

There were a couple plays that he straight out bullied people. Was great to see. I think by and large, people here really like the kid. Steed, otoh, whom I really like, had a bad game. Not convinced Caleb is the guy either. We really lack the speed and pop at that position. 45 from ATM was a beast, otoh. I would love to have LBs that run like he does and pursue at the POA like he does. 41/31 have that potential but they're not quite ready yet.

41 is flat out ridiculous. He shouldn’t be able to move that way. Can’t wait to see him more
 
He played great, i was very critical of his play last year but he's a different player this year. He got screwed having to play too early and in a **** system that allows lineman open access to the linebackers.

It's called motivation. Athletes do it all the time. They are ALWAYS looking for motivation on the field or off of it. Always searching for the disrespect. Kid should have a chip on his shoulder as big as a boulder.

This is not specific to Flagg but any player using social media from their fan base is in the wrong “Being in the spotlight” business

When you play we’ll cheer your name to the heavens and when you constantly play bad……
 
Flagg and Ivey were solid Saturday. Flagg, Caleb Johnson, Wesley, and Chase Smith need to play more. Way less of Keontra Smith and Steed.

I agree with what you’re saying… but I’m not an athlete of this generation. And apparently from your post, neither are you. I’m telling you, Athletes drive themselves by trying to prove “the haters” wrong.

This, imo, was the best game he’s played at Miami. He was moving sideline to sideline and getting there. Keep it up young man..

Hopefully he also knows there are plenty of fans who don’t hate a kid for struggling at times. And props to him that IQ is paying off as he is getting better and better. Had a **** of a game and showed some pop against a physical team. We play to our strengths on D and kids flash. Imagine that
