GoGeta why has Coral Gables High declined in football so drastically? I know they have a DT this year (I wish we were recruiting him, I saw him live and he’s a freak athlete) but where are these ballers from the Grove playing? Denzel Perryman and Gilbert Frierson were the last 2 big time players from the Gables.

Coral gables really has never had good teams,just a star here and there like vilma,gore,perryman and the thing with the down south kids like schools like the ridge,South dade,homestead,Columbus has been recruiting and taking the best players from that area the past 15 years

I understand recruiting is fluid, but he is pretty locked in, correct?
I keep seeing people commenting that they hope he sticks, just wondering if there any reason people keep saying that or if it’s just a general comment.

I know he’s Canadian. He’s super athletic. And last year they had a British big boy who committed to FSU (not a fan of his tape at all though). Idk how the **** FSU took him.
