Its reality buddy. Kids a heeluva prospect but one of the things he needs to improve is his speed. people around here see 5 stars and automatically crown a guy but he has some areas he needs to improve if his game is going to translate. thats reality. Ive seen this **** happen around here over rand over and over since 1999

He’s plenty fast to excel as soon as he steps on campus stop it fam, you could’ve at least said strength or weight if you were going to nitpick but speed is not a concern with this kid

To me it's about functional speed... getting in and out of breaks with explosion...being able to not get caught from behind. Being a blazer is icing on top to me.

There are plenty of examples of speedsters being functionally slow (a counter argument can be made as well, I know).

Anybody seen him play in real life? I have post traumatic Mark Pope syndrome.

He looks so much more aggressive attacking the ball than Pope during high school. He's also got an insane amount of agility and burst. **** a long speed as long as dude can shake his defender out of his shoes with footwork and wiggle.

The people in here talking about speed are really dumb. We just had Mali, who isn't a speedster, have an all time season. Did yall watch the games??

It’s that short area burst which makes guys like Mali and Nick and NFL pro bowlers different. Phillip Dorsett would smoke Odell in a forty but who’s quick in and out of breaks and can play at different speeds is what makes them elite. There are plenty of guys that can win 40 yard dashes that will never be good at getting open.

You can get used to guarding someone if they are always fast and do everything fast. But someone who can put you to sleep then use that gear to catch you are the most dangerous in every major sport. Look at Mali’s “he doesn’t lose foot races” route….slow into the zone sit there then boom. Beat every angel

Ole Miss TD screen, shifting through holes (pause) at regular speed, after the main cut backs he performed he hit 5th gear and everyone had bad angels cause they were going off the speed he gave them. Then boom they were done already. Super smooth, Nick is the same
