andre johsnon was a football palyer who ran track. sean taylor was a football player who ran track. numerous examples out there. this kid is a nice prospect but he needs to get faster than what he is now. If you cant understand that then that's your problem and your setting yourself up for disappointment.

I dont have a problem with you speaking your mind on it I been on that opinion before. I did not care for last years wr from sfla, this one to me is different. I even thought Duke Johnson wasn't fast and said it, at least you aint scared to say something that wont be popular I respect that.

You knwo betetr than that. Back in the day people crowned terrel walden cause he ran that 4.3 at a maimi camp. My question about him was " is he a football palyer". People got mad about that. Walden became a track guy more than a football player.

The best players have a speed element to their game. Speed alone doesnt make you great. Other wise a guy like akeem jolla (21.1 200m) would have been an all american. he sucked here.

Hes ran an 11.19 as recent as today...and is a deep ball specialist. Everyone pretty much gets faster in college with s&c n proper training...**** this is his first time running track n getting that training n his speed there has been good.

Speed concerns are fair because of his measurables he relies on it alot but its good that he is in track now and his body is still maturing. This isn’t pope tho, his character makeup and athleticism is a different level

When you watch mali you see a high level of iq, route running, understanding tempo and leverage. Nick relies on pure athleticism so i can understand wanting to see faster times

Nick leveraged and is are high asf as well. He knows how to attack different looks that the defense gives him. He has a whole route tree, he comes with the route tree already done. You got guys like Hykeem Williams getting 5 stars because they run in a straight line in HS but can’t run a route. Nick is different

Interesting considering we just had a WR go for 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 TD's and he is probably one of the slowest WR's in UM history. 🤷‍♂️
