Do we see Miami and the others readjust their out of conference schedules now that we see how the committee is working.

(and I mean in theory in case one day we can actually be in that conversation again).

Don't see how there isn't a seismic shift in the OOC scheduling for at least some of those outside of the SEC but even within.

Thoughts?

Dont know yet. MSU's only loss was to Oregon, shouldnt they be higher? And since the top 10 is basically the SEC west, wouldnt it be natural for these rankings to reflect that?

This is week one --- not sure you can say we understand "how the committee works"
- If you are the SEC & Pac 10 --- not sure I would change too much. You have SOS within conference
- I think Big 12 has to add teams outside of conf mainly bc no Conference Title game ... this really hurts you
- ACC & Big 10: I wouldnt add out of conference to schedule and try to win every game ..... if you you are in. If you lose one game you are behind a ton of other one loss teams in SEC, PAC 10 & Big 12

What I also see
- if you lose, lose on the road ..... dont get dropped as much
- if you lose, lose to someone in the top 10... same

I'd be willing to bet that the Playoff will be expanded sooner rather than later with a distinct possibility of guaranteeing conference champions a spot so any talk of leaving the ACC is probably a bit shortsighted.

This has to happen only conference champs IMO. With one CC being left out so all this sec money draw will be done and the fixing will be finished. Fair across the board, no one in the nfl says so and so division is tough so that team should pass a division champ.....no no no u gotta win yo conference is the way it should be.

8 teams has always made the most sense. Guarantee conference winners a slot and then have 3 extra spots to placate (at least initially until they're exposed) the $EC with a second team and whatever other teams you want to add. ******** a team that might be ranked 9 and still rewarding all the conference winners is way more palatable than potentially ******** two conference winners while denying the $EC bias with a straight face.
