First female COS hired in NFL

This goes to shows the Cleveland Browns are somehow worse then every team that has had a win less regular season ever; Who ever is in control of any of the roster transactions is just - One hundred percent stupid. Joe Thomas who was one of the best left tackles or offensive linemen during his career among his peers, maybe ever for pass protection.. Then proceed to trade the teams best overall offensive linemen in Kevin Zeitler.

Jarvis Landry was considered to be one of the better number one go to receiver with the dolphins quarter back carousel, Jay Cutler they handed the starting job one year. Adam Gase when he was hired was supposed to be one of the key coaches of Aaron Rodgers success; The same was thought of Mike McCarthy until Aaron Rodgers made it public, Aaron himself was the better play caller & none of his teammates disagreed.

Sadly the jets owners hired Adam Gase because he was able to beat the patriots but still barely better then the jets.

Huge Miami Hurricanes fan. Good for her. Dont quite get why her looks are relevant to the discussion. Not exactly something that can be helped. She wants to be involved with a football front office- she's not trying to be Kaitlin Jenner and spreading her buttcheeks for playboy.

In terms of being qualified for the position- yes, she is qualified to be a COS. Were there more experienced candidates that didn't get hired? Maybe. But that's the case for a lot of jobs. Pretty much every job I've had, I've landed over more experienced candidates, but my bosses chose me because I am good at dealing with difficult people. A COS is going to be the HCs filter to prevent the coach from dealing with minutiae. She might be really good at that. She also has FCS football coaching experience.

Also, if you think a woman isn't capable of being in the front office of a football team- Condi Rice leads the BCS playoff committee and says her dream job is to be the Commissioner of the NFL. Do you think she's unqualified for that job?
Least she could do is grow her hair out a bit and put on a dress. The **** androgynous look just looks clownish on a female.

Why do you care how she dresses and how long her hair is? I'm not saying you are ***, but it seems like a *** guy would be concerned about hairstyle and clothes. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Or are you concerned you might mistake her for a man and find her attractive? Again, not judging you, just trying to understand why a person would be so uncomfortable with her clothes and hair.

Timebomb is right.

The first one I quoted makes a comment, pretty much saying she has masculine features; Then proceeds to say she looks like a *** woman aka Catch twenty-two

The fact any man, which I'm assuming "Insancecane is?" You made it clear this particular individual is not your type, but then all you do is comment about what she's doing wrong with her - attractiveness.

"I'm just the messenger"

What qualified the current NFL commish prior to his selection, and how is that different from Rice’s current resume, in a way that makes him more qualified? What relevant experience did he have at the time that would make him more qualified than her? Serious question.

Is this a serious question? Can’t be.

But if so, go peruse his vast NFL experiences. Now compare that to hers.

I guess you’ve never played with the big boys in business. Many times for the top job, it’s better to bring someone that hasn’t grown up and developed habits in that same culture. The only job Goodell has had has been in the NFL.

Now do yourself a favor and look at some of the top CEOs of the last 25 years. While many, if not most, stayed within their industry, some within the same company, there are some notable examples of those that came from entirely different industries and companies.

To out of hand rule her out, based on the fact that Goodell was a one-stop executive with no outside experience, is shallow and simple minded

I notice many a Leaning CIS members who spew machismo false-bravado are conspicuously absent from this thread... you know who you are. Why aren't you congratulating this 'handsome' coaching intern on her recent Chief of Staff hire?

Has she even worked for one professional sports team? I didn’t think so. We all know she’s a huge sports fan but has oddly enough been very vacant in any leadership roles within professional sports.

Go back to eating your boogers.

So of the 4 professional sports leagues in the US that actually matter, all 4 have commissioners that have a long, long association with professional sports. Three of them have guys who are basically lifers in those leagues and the NHL commissioner came over after a long stint with the NBA.

It’s weird that the booger eater knows more about qualified pro sports commissioners than everybody within those leagues.
