Hey guys, canes fan from Ma here new to the board. Always been a dream of mine to experience FSU at Miami and will be coming down for the game this year. Since it's my first time down to Miami, from one cane fan to another, just looking for suggestions on where to sit in the new miami stadium and how the parking situation works/goes. Is it easy to get in and out of the parking lot? Anything will help. Thanks! Go Canes!

Good luck here.

I'm in the same boat .. I'm going to my first Fsu vs . Miami game this year as well and I've never even been down there before ... Hoping somebody answers some of your questions cause anything will help out a lot ...

Possibly one of the. Last hostile and fun environments ever, be ready is all I'll say. Parking sucks regardless, but parking really sucks that day because the stadium is jam packed.

Parking is a breeze compared to some other venues across the country I would come in from the turnpike on the east side of the stadium if I were you its very easy to get in and out that way. As for seating it really depends on what kind of cash you want to spend for the tickets I have sat pretty much everywhere in the stadium between the 30s upper deck on either side has good views and will now be in the shade. I would avoid the corners in the lower bowl not the greatest views. Club level is always nice but it really depends on what you are looking for.

Parking is a nightmare for the FSU game, Get to the stadium 1hr minimum before kickoff to get to your seats on time. Don't wait till the last minute when all the drunks are being herded through the gate and the FSU/Miami fans start clashing and throwing drinks/punches at eachother. Seating is based on your preference and $$ limit. Personally i usually sit near the 40 yd line upper bowl 1st row. It's an unobstructed view of the field from above and you wont miss anything like if you were sitting in the endzone and the play was happening 110yds away.

Here's what I did to choose mine-
1. vivid seats or stubhub and get to where you are looking at what seats are available for the fsu game.
2. go to ticketmaster and look at tickets for a dolphins game. Here you can click on seats and a graphic will pop up to show you the view of the field from the seat.
3. find seats you like for the fsu game and check if the view is acceptable on the ticket master site.
4. purchase acceptable seats

I looked at single game tickets from UM's website an omg are they expensive. I'll be sitting in section 347 and I'll be in the shade. I also got tickets for the Dolphins game the next day. What I did for that was look at the seats and then look at the construction cam with live views of the stadium during the game time to make sure the seats I got would be in the shade. I was able to find front row upper deck so it didn't matter in the end but I was trying to make sure I liked the location. I had several tabs open and it took at little time but I think it was worth it to get a good view. It'll be my son's first Miami/fsu and Dolphins game so it was important.

Don't think there is a "bad" seat in the house. Tickets will go for 100+ easy, and with 10,000 less seats after the renovation I'd get tickets as soon as possible. Parking will suck, best bet is to get there with the gates open (I think it's 5 hours before game time for FSU) and set up a nice tailgate. The closer to the stadium you get the more jampacked people are in the rows. I'd shoot to park outside of the regular stadium parking, which I think will require a parking pass anyway.

Switchblade life...makes me chuckle everytime. Poor Juan, poor little Havana actually.

Go Canes!

Nosebleeds seats will be expensive. This is really the only game of the year that ever sells out. To avoid street traffic, get off the stadium exit on the turnpike and it takes you right into the stadium. Even if you get there early, there will be lines of cars waiting to get in. Just be patient. I would recommend buying a parking pass ahead of time so you don't have to go to the cash-only lots to park. They're going to hit you at least $30 to park for the FSU game. I would recommend saving some food from the tailgate party for after the game. I usually hang out in the parking lot until the traffic leaving the stadium dies down a bit.

Thanks for all the help and keep the advise coming! Sounds like coming from the turnpike is the way to go. Should I park in the orange parking lot? Also as for seats, I don't wanna buy tickets on stubhub or something and end up in the FSU fan section... Unless I got that Miami bro that beat up like 10 frat bros with me

The bottom side of the map, with different seating(club), is the home team seating.

The stadium in the past has been at least 40% FSU....hope it changes.

Do you know anything about "Field club" tickets ?? ... I bought two of those cause I mean just from the name I assumed they were really good seats .. But they were only $140 each and that seems really cheap to me to be that close ? ...

The Field club seats are the very front section of each endzone. They're some kind of specialty seating with couches and ****.

Seating Experiences | Miami Dolphins New Stadium

I believe field club is a set of seats basically in the back of either endzone. So you are on field level with a great view when the ball is on your side of the fifty. Not so much when the balls on the other end of the field.

Well I can tell you tailgating usually starts extremely early for the FSU game. If the Game starts at 8pm, then the gates probably open at 1 which is when a **** load of student will be there partying. Parking and the stadium are the fullest they will ever be, so you need to get there at least 2 hours before (for the FSU game). If you don't want to setup your own tailgate just bring your own beer and snack and walk around, usually everyone is friendly if you're in Cane gear.
The most important thing when picking your seat is not to be near the FSU band. They only play one ******* thing all **** game and is the most annoying sound you'll ever hear. Of course we have our reply to it, but still it's annoying as **** when its all they do. The Miami Student section is from the visitors 40 yard line to the middle of the endzone the players walk out of. The FSU band is in the top section in the opposite corner of the visitors side.
