We have Butch mother****ing Davis willing to hop on board TODAY. We're hearing rumblings about the top assistant coach in the NFL wanting to come coach the Canes.

Yet some of you braindead turds want to roll the dice and hire a guy who was a college coordinator 6 months ago.

Some turdbirds for example were touting Charlie Scrong - but he too was just a splash in the pan. Got it all, and can't do diddly squat.

So by all means, roll the dice on yet another who may look great in short bursts, but whose body of work is kinda skinny. Real skinny.

Imagine if we'd hired Charlie Scrong, and he fell flat on his *** like he's doing at Texas. Some of us would be saying, "TOLD YOU SO."

Herman is a bad ***. He's on that 2nd tier with a couple other guys right below the long shot home run Chip Kelly.

There are many true canes fighting the good fight against Fraulden The Incompetent. Now, as the discussion regarding the candidates to replace our current National Embarrassment heats up, is not the time to start tearing each other up. The Fraulden fight isn't over, yet.

IMHO, as one who believes we need a PROVEN successful HC, Butch is the answer.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't look at lesser candidates, but please make them credible. Please don't offer someone with a brief resume in a minor league. Please don't offer someone who caught lightning with a single high-caliber talent. Please don't offer NFL lifers.

Who, besides Butch, could be successful here? Duke's David Cutcliffe, for one. There are others.
 
Cutcliffe would be my choice. Staying in the acc. Access to better talent. Only Q is can he recruit with the big dogs. Its obvious he can coach up kids. Im mean FREAKING DUKE for Christ sakes
