This dude is 5'2 and has our DBs bailing at the snap and backpedaling out of the stadium. **** him and anyone ever associated with Golden.

Fire Al Golden.

Gotta love this play. Empty set on 2nd and 6, meaning a quick pass in all likelihood. We 2 gap it with 3 oversized DL in the frog stance (Chick doesn't even have a hand on the ground) and have a guy playing 10 yards off the slot receiver.

That's not even mentioning McCord, who was covering the slot WR--after the slot had burned him the PREVIOUS PLAY for a first down. This play ended in a big gain because McCord had absolutely no chance of staying with the slot WR.

Whoever said that that game is a coaching blooper reel is right on point.

General question concerning this image - are college DB's allowed contact with the receiver inside 10 yards of the line of scrimmage like NFL bumps? I get so sick of the DB's playing soft at the line instead of making it hard for the receivers to run routes. IMO with the good corners we have we should be terrorizing the WR's at the line and playing man and the safeties should be just that - a safety in case one of the WR blows past the Corner.

Bad feeling this defense will be exposed for what it is in a few games. No KR TD and no drops by Lville receivers who were wide open (3 by my count) and we would have probably been looking at another 450-500 yd game.

Very interesting observation on the KRTD and how it ultimately made the stat sheet look for the D.

No issue with Williams whatsoever as far as coaching but Golden brought him here so he's part of the problem. Get rid of all of them.

Louisville didn't even really spread us out as much as they could. I think we will only see small improvement vs teams like Duke and FSU.
