I mean we’re still a notable program in ELITE recruiting grounds. We don’t have to be a laser focused program like coastal or big spenders like Tennessee. Just get competent people. We aren’t gonna go poach a Dan Fitzgerald from Kansas. But heck we can not give a real crap and still put in competent coaches.

Go hire an assistant somewhere. Will Coggin, Chuck Jeroloman, Matt Hobbs. Someone will take this job, and we don’t even have to put in half of Tennessee’s resources.
 
Burn it down. Need UM leadership to takeover and get rid of the baseball mafia

Has pitching been the worst aspect of this team for like 10 years now? I mean maybe fielding or Base running? Hitting seems to easily be the best, but I don't actually pay that close attention, maybe it was just some top talents and overall hitting has been bad on average, idk... But I'd bet pitching has been dog**** compared to what should be expected.... And our HC is the pitching coach... Same **** as Manny leading to us having the worst LB unit in like a century at Miami

Absolutely. Pitching has sucked for a long long time. Now don’t get me wrong there were years where pitching wasn’t the worst thing we do but in no way has our program been anywhere close to a real program from a pitching perspective in 15+ years.

1 year where we had big boy pitching and covid shut it down…. But don’t worry that team had massive flaws like all miami teams have had going back to 09 and would have stubbed their toe with no approach at the plate, bad defense, bad base running, etc

It’s been a seesaw for going on 20 years. 1 thing good the rest is bad.

Program seriously lacks an identity and has for some time.

Pretty sure DiMare quit because losing ate him up inside, and he knew he could only get us so far. JD doesn't have FU money like Gino to fall back on, so we're stuck with this loser for 2 more years since the school will never fire him. They may not renew his contract after 2028 but **** will freeze over before he's fired imo.
