Another that kills me....most of the roster is made of Florida kids.
Kids who presumably play ball 12 months/year, in many tournaments, etc.
How could they be so bad in doing the simple things like baserunning, catching
and throwing?
What are they doing?

Well the stereotype knock on Florida travel ball kids is…. All games/showcases….No practice and fundamentals and baseball IQ

"Florida kids" is precisely the problem. I mentioned it in one of these threads. Florida has the worst travel ball culture in the country. It is absolutely not a coincidence that all 12(?) D1 programs in the state were done by June 1st.

Yea, just depends on program you’re with and your parents honestly. I’m living it now with my oldest (8th grade going to 9th) playing summer ball with the HS he’s going in to, while doing side training. But he has plenty of friends just freelancing all summer and jumping on every guest tournament team possible.

I’ll add a problem i notice is guest players and random allstars jumping team to team, no team chemistry ever sets in. Its hired assassins playing for random coaches they dont really know either.

Sounds like what became of high school hoops in certain big cities thanks to the AAU and its sneaker culture.
As a child of the 1970s and 1980s who grew up in Hialeah, I watched many solid teams from Khoury League, American Legion, high school and Miami -Dade CC. Not only were there great players, the other players who were not stars were at least fundamentally sound.
Looking at the rosters of many of the programs that won this past weekend, you don't see as many soFla players as we would see in the past.

This is under-appreciated IMO. Look at the over-achievers in the regionals - most were below the radar types or guys who had been w the same team for a few years.

Ironically, you can more easily buy/portal a championship team in football because of the QB impact, but I'm not sure it translates to baseball yet (there's only so many Paul Skenes).

for team’s chemistry and coaches is bad getting new players every week but for the kids that guess play a lot is great getting those game reps

A.Morales was let go at Nova recently.
Get rid of Brewer and get Morales to coach the infield and recruit.
Even if JD is on the hot seat, he could be an upgrade for the upcoming season.

Well how can you even have a mindset to win any games if you have a head coach that doesn't even talk to his players, except the starters? (even then it's not much) hmmmmm......let that sink in, this is a known fact!
