Fire Golden banner for VT game

I get it, we're ****ed and we want him gone. But **** that sucks for the players. Nothing like walking into a hostile environment and seeing a banner flying over the stadium calling for your coaches head. It's gotta be demoralizing. I just don't see how this can move the needle forward.

Can't we keep this in house by only flying banners during home games?

More disheartening than coming out of HS as a sure fire All-American, and wasting away barely even getting All-Conference honors (if they are lucky) under this gaggle of corches?

Imagine what a kid like Duke is really thinking in his heart about his time here at Miami. Don't even get me started on kids like Coley, Carter and Bush who aren't getting these years of their careers back....EVER.

A night game, great idea, the brain trust is hard at work I see.:stephenahand:

Sunset in Blacksburg is 6:42. Kickoff is 8. The rule from the FAA is that planes can't fly 1.5 hours from kickoff, so it'll fly during daylight. Who's the dumbass now?

Agreed, but that wasn't my point. What are the positives that can come out of this from an away game? Fly it at every home game (minus Jim Kelly day) if you want, that's fine.

Just not at an away game. Especially a Thursday night game. These players have enough sh*t to deal with everyday with this staff. You think our admin will be watching that game?

I'd say reading your corch telling the media and anyone else that it's your fault not his every time something goes wrong or we lose is more disheartening than a banner trying to rescue the players and program from an incompetent buffoon.

If I'm a player, I'd rather see a banner calling for the head of the guy blaming me for everything that goes wrong than see another story in the newspaper where the idiot says I busted assignments, didn't execute, or don't have ball skills.

You think the Safeties were happy to read that they can't play the ball in the air and that's why we run this **** defense?

Yeah, I mean Duke's a junior already and hasn't even got to show his ability. I know I know. Some will say that he's got the most total yards in the history of a school that has put the most talented players in the NFL - including hall of famer type returners and backs. But hey, if only the coaches would use him.

Maybe they will watch, maybe they won't.

But I guarantee - the entire coaching staff, the entire Administration, and the entire BOT will know about it within 24 hours.

Golden may can run, but he can't hide. That is the message.

Nice. They turned a surefire Heisman finalist into an ALL ACC-Corstal first teamer!!!!!!

Great work corches!!!!!!!!

On a serious note about usage. One thing I do like about how they've used Duke is they have, in fact, limited his touches. He missed some from being hurt last year of course, but if he leaves after this year, he'll have about 475 rushes for his Miami career. Compare that to, say Adbullah, who I think is a beast. But he'll have something closer to 800 (and he didn't play much as a freshman).

Who do you think the pros will like better? A fresh Duke or an Abdullah with a lot of wear on the tires? I think it's a reason why all those great Wisconsin backs flame out in the NFL. It also looks like Bielema's learned his lesson with Arkansas.

Don't get me wrong, I yell "Run the **** ball with Duke" at the field /screen as much as the next man, but the staff is doing the better thing by the kid who should have 10 productive years on Sundays.

Problem 2 is the problem.....he's a Gaytor.......Why aren't you flying banners over the Swamp? Or are you? Dan Mullen to the Gaytors......GO DAN! Yes sir......Dan Mullen is the answer.......LMAO

Of course he's thought about the recruits. He doesn't care.....He's a Gaytor fan & a troll. DON'T SUPPORT ANY OF THIS CLASSLESS B.S.

Has anyone thought about the recruits during all of this?

Can't wait until Dan Mullen takes us to the top, thanks for passing up on him Miamuh.
