Fire Fake James!

Man, I was just thinking back at how ****ed I was at Blake the night we hired Manny. I was hurt at the whole program that night. It felt lazy and rushed.

But now seeing how Manny is turning out, I get why they rushed. They had this guy walking the hallways for three years and knew he was a boss. I'm giving a pass for now lol
My thoughts exactly. Here's hoping we don't have to revisit those feelings at any point this season. Or ever, for that matter.

Pass on that for now. He clearly nailed it with Manny hire

Clearly, his first offseason proves that..............

Even if he does turn out to be a good hire, James will still F it up by doubling his salary and adding 5 years to his contract after his first 8 win season

Yup. Same here.

My thoughts on the Manny hire that night:

My thoughts on the Manny hire and everything that's happened since (debaculous ticket distribution for 8/24 set aside for the moment):

Can we do never? That was a dark, dark place that I don't ever want to go back to, much less have to talk or even think about.

We had every right to be ****ed. He conducted a supposedly "national" search for a coach by doing one interview over the span of 3 hours. It was a huge gamble on his part. Its paying off so far.

Manny didn't need an interview because they knew him. They've been in meetings and walking the halls with him for three years. It wasn't a gamble because they knew better than everybody how Manny would run things. That's why it went so quick. When the job came open the thought was probably "We have to get Manny back"

Again I was ****ed at the time but now seeing what they've seen for years, I get it.

Hiring a coordinator with no head coaching experience without interviewing any other candidates is definitely a gamble.

I said for now.

And his husband!

Then try him in the Hague for his atrocities. (He'll name names, of course. We all know he's a sock puppet, but that's no defense for his depravity)

Just thought, in these trying times on CIS, I would try to unify us all. What better way than a post EVERYONE can (should, MUST) agree with.

your welcome

Meh, I waffle back and forth on this one, though I am glad Shalala's departure allowed his balls to finally drop.

All that said, UM is not going to spend the money to bring in a top dog AD, and quite honestly, given our relative budget to state schools, it is a smaller scale, different animal.
