Fire Enos

We are going to win or lose with the Offensive Line, but most of us new that going in.

They are who we thought they were. There was no chance of the current players going into a phone booth and then magically coming out as ALL PRO lineman. Some of us thought Tate was going to be the QB because the OL was going to be bad and he would have used his legs to make something out of nothing. We even eluded to the fact that Enos would help the OL by running multiple tight ends, quick passes, fullback, etc.

I for one am not going to give up after 4 games. Roman has pointed out that our receivers are getting open and if given time we will start hitting them more.

Just adjust to what we have!.

MAX PROTECTION until we can fix it.

Enos will get this season, but Manny needs to tell him to cut the sh*t and kill 5/7 step drops from under center, Stay on shotgun 80%+ of the time and quick developing plays. Throw everything slow developing away, we can't run that with the state of the OL rn.

JW can't throw deep this is a fact, and something that everybody knew. We will have to live with this for this season and hope he improves during the season.

I understand the frustration over the CMU game but our QB is on pace for over 3k yards, has a 7-0 TD to Int rate and is completing over 70 pct of his passes. Not exactly grounds for termination.
True but he also has a 45 QB rating which is extremely bad

Anyone that knows football knows games are won/lost at the line of scrimmage. Our OL is young and inexperienced and Enos is trying to make it work with kids he didn't recruit. There are some great tools but its hard to use them when the OL gives Williams 1.5 seconds. Additionally, he's trying to expand the playbook week by week but we have a Freshman QB with 4 games of experience. He's been using our TE's and RBs but if the OL can't block what exactly do you want him to do?

With all that said, his offense has looked very good considering a weak OL. UNC our offense couldn't be stopped, BCU we looked strong. Even against a stout UF defense, our offense had moments. CMU abused our OL and we couldn't get any separation at WR. Is that Enos' fault?

How about the fact we're talking about 20 year olds playing an inferior opponent with 5000 fans.

As UNC showed, when our OL plays well, our offense is nearly impossible to stop thanks to Enos. I just hope Enos decides to stay because this OL would drive any OC out of his mind. Tom Brady wouldn't succeed with this OL...

Impossible to stop yet we scored 25 points. Does not compute!!!!!

Enos offense isn’t root of the problem. What he’s running isn’t a issue...the issue is the decision that we’re made by he manny and Barry up front..that is on them

The fact that we struggled run blocking AND pass blocking from a school like central Michigan is alarming. Of course better playcalling would help but that’s pretty **** pathetic on the oline part. They were physically overwhelmed and out played all game which attributed to the lack of offense. You don’t expect that going into a game with a group of 5 team... And I’ve been getting on enos since that game and he certainly needs to cut out some plays and formations he’s calling but the oline obviously needs to play much better too. It really shouldn’t matter what we call against a team like that so that’s an issue that needs to be worked out

Assuming you didn't watch the game. 1st quarter we were completely dominated. Defense was torched... very little time of possession. We rebounded and could not be stopped. Again, assuming you didnt watch the game.

Does Diaz even know what type of offense he wants to run? He has no OC experience
Diaz reminds me of Randy Shannon in this area. Randy Shannon hired Pat Nix because Pat Nix gave his D problems. You don't hire a guy because YOU can't stop his O. You hire him because no one else can.

So you make a good point. Does he even have a clue what he wants? Something that converts 3rd downs and scores points shouldn't be asking for too much.

Enos went from HC, to OC, to QBC.... We were told this happened just because he doesn't follow popular trends. Anyone else think, "Does not compute" when we were fed this BS?

Your crusade to defend this JV staff is a fools errand. Every comment in defense of what we saw this past Saturday is indefensible and you loose any little credit you had on here with each post. Smh
