Fire Diaz and revamp the coaching staff on the defensive side of the ball

One game and you want to fire the DC. Glad you're not a HC or AD, talk about reactionary.
Nah actually I never wanted him hired in the first place. It was never about one game. I am just tired of my Texas Longhorn (who can handle talk after losing to Maryland) calling me up and still laughing uncontrollably about the Manny Diaz hire.

They would have buried him alive in the Lone Star State if Mack Brown didn’t do Manny a favor and put him out of his misery.

Fellas, I hate to say it, but we are fücked. Look how long it took Blake "Pinga Lover" James and the douches on the BOT to fire Golden. CMR just brought us a Coastal Division title last season...We are stuck with him for at least the next 5 years unless he decides to abruptly hang it up and retire.

Sometimes I wonder what some of you are watching.

Our LB's are Juniors and STILL take poor run fits.
Our CB's are STILL allowing WR's to beat them inside. ****, I saw one play where ALL THREE WR's beat us inside. LOL
We STILL run poorly designed (and poorly timed) blitzes that seldom get home.

I don't understand how anybody can defend the defensive staff at this point. You have no ground to stand on. It's not like Diaz has ever had a great defense. He's been mediocre (or bad) his whole career. How the **** does he deserve the benefit of the doubt?! LOL

I don't give a **** where LSU started with the football or how bad our offense was. That was never an excuse for previous DC's. When our defenses were good, we still shut people down even when our offense had a poor game. Our 2010 defense played beside a terrible offense and you MF's still never made excuses for Shannon (or whoever was really running our defense back then).

Great defenses step up to the plate.

I need these type of excuse makers at my disposal for Friday nights in the event that my unit takes a ****.
These dudes got so many excuses for Diaz because he had the good fortune of following Dorito. They think that because he’s slightly better than Dorito that he’s some sort of savior.

Wanna see some real defensive coordinating? Go watch last night’s Vag Tech game. Watch how Foster confused the **** out of FSU by changing his looks a split second before snaps. Watch how he times blitzes and sends guys who actually get there most of the time. He took a defense that was completely decimated by the draft, injuries and suspensions and totally tooled Smelly ***gart.

Meanwhile, watch what happens when we play FSU. They’ll be torching us with wide open receivers everywhere, and Aikers and Patrick will look like Thurman and Barry.

**** Chise, all I had to do was look at the opposite sideline Sunday night. LOL

How can anybody watch LSU's defense and say that our's shouldn't be just as good?

Unless the argument is that our offense is worse. In that case, we STILL have a coaching problem. LOL

Hope we do get rid of Diaz. Otherwise the idiots at this school will make him our next cheap hire of a HC. Just pathetic how cheap and amateurish this football program is handled by this damned school.

I love Diaz, the guy.
His defense, not so much.
Too unsound for my liking.

Everybody always talked **** about how "basic" our defenses were back in the day but that **** was SOUND and I'd take that boring stuff over this crap all day.

Same **** every year, Big Beard. Guys act like because our offense sucks that automatically means our defense is good. It’s always “well you can’t play defense if the punter sucks or is you have 3 and outs on offense.” Since when?

And on top of that, Diaz usually gets tooled right from the beginning of the game before the offense’s 3 and outs can have any affect on them. He lets QBs get off to 19 straight completions and 21 points before the national anthem even ends.

Our defense is bipolar. Diaz employs a mix of exotic blitzes by the defensive line, mixed in with corners playing 8 yards off their man on 3rd & 7.

Total mismatch. Pretty sad when Coach Zero’s team is way better prepared in all 3 phases than we were. Aranda was my 2nd choice behind Don Brown when Rick got hired.

When he hired Diaz I was scared to death given what I’ve seen from him at every other stop. That Arkansas debacle the year before Rick hired him where he couldn’t stop a bad passing team from completing a thousand passes for a million yards should have scared anyone to death.

Clemson's QB is still completing 7 yard passes against us as we speak.
He's 123/127 passing.
Exactly. Then the next game he played Alabaga made a total joke out of him. How about Benkert? And the Wisconsin QB who was horrible all year before he feasted on Diaz like crispy chicharron. Or the Pitt freshman making his first start?
