PLEASE STOP comparing Diaz to Dabo PLEASE!!

It's like comparing a child to a fully grown man

Completely different circumstances, one is completely unproven ......while the other has already won 2 N.C.s

Currently, We have NO idea how Diaz's coaching career will actually turn out....only conjecture on our part. Some bad, some hopeful.......While Dabo has actually proven what he is capable of

Manny has NOT yet earned the right to be compared with any Elite coach
It really is ridiculous and a childish ploy. Find an accomplished coach who had a rough start and then assert that since a great coach had a rough start, then Diaz's futility is really just camouglaged greatness. Vomitous.

The only reason they beat USCe is because they were able to do whatever they wanted to do on the ground. Might as well have said the only reason they beat USCe is because they scored more points then them.
Dude said UFs oline wasn’t good. I’ve never in my life seen a team with a bad oline run for 350 yards in a P5 conference game.

UNC wasn't the only game we are judging Diaz by. Wake me up when Clemson plays down to CMU.

One month into this season, already:

Tenneseee lost to Georgia State at home.
Missouri lost at Wyoming.
The Citadel beat Georgia Tech.
Kansas rolled Boston College (and then got rolled by a TCU team that lost to SMU.)
Michigan needed overtime to survive Army, at home.
Florida State needed a missed PAT to survive Louisiana-Monroe, at home.
Pitt upset UCF and then almost laid an egg against Delaware.
North Carolina beat South Carolina, Miami and almost upset Clemson—but lost to Wake Forest and Appalachian State.
Maryland rolled Syracuse 63-20—and a week later lost at Temple and then had Penn State beat the sh*t out of them, 59-0.

Welcome to college football in 2019—where there's a ton of parity, where the "little guy" can take it to a Power 5 school any given week and where every coach not named Nick Saban is having harder time than ever getting their kids to stay focused week in and week out.

So I'm understanding your logic - we can't call out Diaz because of the small sample size of his HC career. Yet, you're saying UF had a good OL because of 1 good game their OL had.

Read the whole thread jerkoff. It was said Mullen had a makeshift oline. They were a top 25 rushing team and top 20 in sacks allowed.

And the year before their OL was pedestrian. You mean a new HC comes in and brings in a new staff and they can actually improve a unit?

Explain how they are worse this year compared to last then? **** your dumb.

They graduated no starters from 2017. Gee I wonder how they got better, I don’t know maybe a year of strength and conditioning. Finished top 25 in rushing last year. This year they are replacing 4 linemen and have the 88 rushing offense? Did Mullen or Havesty forget how to coach?

You are only making yourself sound more ignorant about football.

Dabo is the greatest thing to ever happen to corches. Now when they underperform they can say "BUT DABO TOOK X AMOUNT OF YEARS, REMEMBER HIS THIRD SEASON??? IMAGINE IF THEY FIRED HIM YEAR 3. YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME ATLEAST 8 YEARS!"

**** yeah.

Garbage *** corches laughing they way to the bank counting up them racks on extensions and buyouts.

We have a coaching staff where the OC likes to play under center with a crap OL, and consistently on 3rd and long likes to call play action passes. Yet I apparently don't know **** about football. @Canesfan0024 and @puertorricane , you two should go suck each other off.

You can run whatever genius scheme you want. Nothing is going to work without the horses. Isn’t Dan Mullen proving that?

We looked effective when we run shotgun. Most here have identified the offense we run (that isn't air raid/spread) is ****, especially when we go under center given our OL is not adequate. UF doesn't have a good OL, but Mullen adjusts his offense to that. It's not the best offense, but his team's 5-0 in the top 10. ****, even Taggart in a desperate move got Bryles where he works around a poor OL. But Enos continues to keep going back to what doesn't work.

Come on, every team can have a bad game, but the CANES are consistently horrible!

This. We're consistently unprepared through the sample size that we've seen. The UF game was a break for Diaz. First game as a HC on the prime time stage against a rival school and a good coach. We had a decent showing and it was more competitive. We looked horrible coming off a bye against a program that won 2 games last season. Followed that up by the fact that 2 weeks later, we were outplayed on all 3 phases and outcoached by CMU. The sample size is extremely small, but it's also extremely alarming.
