Fire DABO!

“Oh man manny only has 4 games to win a national title, if not he deserves to be fired” Jesus give the guy a breathing chance, we haven’t even started ACC play

This really puts things in perspective. When was the last time we had a coach who had a ridiculous record of 25-1 for the first two years? Lets bring him back.

Not with this oline..problems deeper the. Just harping on coaching
Good coaches scheme around their problems. If you think Dabo with the talent we got on this team would not be 4-0 or at least 3-1 then we can end this conversation now. No need to keep going around in circles and end up in the same place.

Riley was handed the keys to a Lexus . A nice roster , players he brought in for his offense , a winning culture and a really good program. He just took it to an even higher level.

Higher level would mean winning multiple National titles, he's not doing anything Stoops didnt do.

Riley has them in title contention every year. They’d gotten stale under Stoops. They were in the 11-2/10-3 ball park the last five or six years, not in title contention as much as they’re now. The last few years under a Lincoln.

Stoops built it and deserves that respect but Riley has them playing at a crazy level , pretty much a yearly shoe in for the playoff. While having a heisman trophy factory.

It was the right time for the change for the program.

Stoops was known as a huge choker , other than his natty in 2000 he underachieved.....a lot . Riley has them in title contention every year. They’d gotten stale under Stoops. Maybe it was time for a change but Riley hasn't taken them to another level.

They’ve been at another level since stoops left . The proof is in the pudding.

They’ve gained respectability that they lost the last decade of stoops. They were viewed as the chokers, hence the nick name “ big game bob”. Everyone knew they’d lose 2-3 games a year to teams they had no business losing to.

There’s a intimidation and fear there that was never there under stoops. Even his natty was a fluke year.

Going undefeated is a fluke? Riley lost to Iowa st in 2017, isnt that a game they shouldn't lose.
Stoops had double digit victories every season except two, once again Riley hasnt taken them to no next level.
Next level would be Bama, Clemson type of dominance for a few years.
He is losing two games a year just like Stoop did.

Quick trivia question for the thread:

Name the only D1 College Coach to ever lead his team to 15-0 & winning the National champion in a season?

Here's a hint, he's the Head Coach who also delivered Miami it's WORST LOSS EVER in school history which resulted in Al Folden getting fired...

Now, I get the point of this thread is to take a shot at fans who are upset at Manny for how we've started, but this thread is nothing more than Classic CIS false equivalency.

Should Manny be fired in year 1, no, but is his situation remotely comparable to Dabo's in his early years of building Clemson into a powerhouse... No, not at all really.

Find a better example next time.
