Fines is leaving Miami

Never should have been here. It’s not his fault. Need to get in the habit of processing guys like this and replacing them with blue chip talent if we want to take the next step.

Oh, well, this is just great news. First Gordinier hangs it up and now Fines is leaving.

Who is gonna be the token white guy of the defense? All the great, championship-caliber Miami teams have had at least one token honky on defense. Tony Fitzpatrick, George Mira, Jr., Bill Hawkins, Greg Mark, Dan Morgan, Matt Walters.

History shows us that Miami has to have a token whitey on defense to be elite.

Is Patchan gonna move back to DE???

Not sure Morgan fits the token part,one of the best LBs to play college ball anywhere.

Yes, Morgan is an all-time great. Some of the other whities I listed weren't slouches either. That's not really the point, though.

Canes have to have one on D in order to be elite. History proves it.
