I don't know why any top coach who had other viable options would come here, given the stadium situation.
I know all about local talent. But more than anything I'm a believer in the big picture. I don't think the Dolphins or Canes will ever win anything of significance as long as that stadium is the home venue. That was my position the first time I saw it, many months before it officially opened. Unfortunately the Canes were dense enough to ignore all the evidence among 20+ seasons.
Maybe we could get a Jim Mora type, somebody who fell out of favor but was actually a quality coach in disguise.
