Final spring observations

What is your prediction for 2015 record wise sir?

I need to see the true freshmen. They play so much these days (even on championship teams) that it's not fair to judge until they get here. Will Tyree St. Louis and Bar Milo be ready to play? Can one of the three corners seize the #5 job? There are a couple things that still need to be sorted out.

But as of now, I'm thinking 7-8 wins.

A lot of guys already ready to jump from the ledge I see. Guys this is the SPRING. Remember, 90 days ago we were a 6-7 team. They weren't going to turn into ALA over night. Now if we are seeing some of the same write-ups come mid-Aug? THEN I will get worried.

A good-great QB can will you to 2-3 wins. So that bodes well that Kaaya is ballin out of control already. Imagine how he will look with 4 more months of side work.

The front 7 looked **** good and I don't mind drinking the kool aid. We all know a good-great front 7 can masks any and all weaknesses of a secondary. If Wyche and one other guy on that front line play like men this year (hopefully Kamalu or CThomas) , things will get very interesting.

Waters to me looks like a defeated man. I was hoping that his spring game performance was just a bad day. But if he has struggled all spring that is not good.

All in all its what I expected to hear. Front 7 played lights out all spring and dominated the Oline... Kaaya is ready to be a superstar...We got a lot of guys who need to spend their summer vacation working their a$$e$ off to take the next step because they will be needed.. (JCarter/DOwens/JYoung/HWaters/SDobard/TDarling/TGray)

Btw, not comparing the two..but in our "Golden Era" days, the Spring game writeup read just like DMoneys..... McDougle and Crew dominating the whole Spring...Dorsey playing lights out..Need to find a complement to AJohnson...Oline is behind..blah blah...Even in the mid 80s it was the same thing.

This shouldn't be a big surprise.

OL a mess, no big time WR, LB spotty, DB a mess, no big time RB

How is this possible in year 5 at freaking Miami?

Does CAG keep his job with another 7 win season?

Simmer down, a lot can, and will change in 5 months. These guys already out there working. Have you look how the spring is going at the other states school, lol! We'll be o.k.

D$, by your eye, is Malc Lewis look like he's back to 100% this Spring? For sure he did not look like he was 100% last year. He was balling as a true freshmans before the injury, any way he gets back to that level this year?

brother, complacency has engulfed you

Besides the RB position, some may say, that sounds like the defending ACC champions.

***Mess, nah...unproven, yes!

If they suffer zero injuries, get all the breaks and the whole team buys in and overachieves, this team could win 7-8 games.

Nah, I just know the difference between spring ball and fall ball. Let Kehoe get an additional 5 months with the OLine, Beard with the recievers, Melvin with the Dline, Hurlie with the LB's, and Scott with the TE's...plenty of time to get better. Come September, we will all know who is ready.

Last fall was the best lineup in 7-8 years and they **** the bed with soft baby ****. You're delusional.

How is this possible in year 5 at freaking Miami?

Rb edwards, Yearby, walton is better than any other running back group in the ACC outside of maybe fsu..... Arguably better

Lb Kirby, grace,Mccord, Owens,- top 4 better again better than anyone in the ACC.... Including fsu who's depth is horrid at the position

Db a group of elder, howard, burns, bush, carter can compete with anyone in the nation talent wise.. Top 2 in the ACC

Wideout group- top 3 in the ACC once again with coley, scott, waters, lewis, berrios.....

Again tell me more how we don't have big time talent in those spots? Each of the guys I named were blue chip recruits coming out of highschool except for edwards. It's no where near as bad as you and some in the thread are making it seam.... Just looking for something to talk sh*t about imo....

Oline group is a work in progress but kehoe knows how to get it done by the season

We've had more talented units on offense and defense than the vast majority of teams we've played over the past four season, especially last season.

But we're 16-16 in the ACC over the last four years with zero Coastal division titles.

Call me crazy, bub, but it sounds like coaching could be the underlying issue here.

i'm extremely worried. but not because of the spring. it's the last 5 years of not meeting expectations and little to no improvement. last year the time regressed big time. not enough players develop with this staff. you don't expect every guy to be a star but they should at least be serviceable. someone tell me why 5 years into this system they're still having guys "learn the system or buying in".
