Im sayin it was crazy to think that at any point lol
No it wasn't. We were projected to win every game but 2 before the season started. It's crazy to think we'll win all the games we're supposed to and lose all the ones we're supposed to?

Anyways I went from 10-2 to 8-4 now, which I still think is optimistic.

Some of the happiest people I've ever met were completely oblivious to the current state of things. Who suffers more, them or the ones who are aware?

Went with 7-5--could have easily clicked 6-6. Wouldn't be surprised (or even upset) if Miami does end up torpedo'ing themselves to a sub 0.500 record. This season is what it is. Take the lumps, let the young guns eat and play to develop for the 2023 season. If we make it to Charlotte while developing the bench--cool.

Looks like my 11-1/darkhorse CFP candidate prediction may have been a bit off. In hindsight, the offense's regression should have been expected considering the offenses Mario has fielded and what he wants to do, his hiring an OC from a run-heavy system, and our current roster. I hope he has his Nick Saban moment soon & decides to open up the offense...what we're currently putting out is boring, ineffective, and will scare away recruits.

Man I hope so. It’s so obvious this offense doesn’t work. At all. When the coaches are reviewing film they must see this, right?

I went 8-4 to 6-6.

I’m going 8-4 like the preseason. This staff isn’t going to win a championship here as currently constructed but it’s too good to let MTSU happen repeatedly. It’s going to be an ugly 8-4 but hopefully there’s tangible progress by the end of the year.

They see the players not executing. It's the same as using antiquated or sub standard processes at a company. Goals aren't met and the people are blamed not the enablement of the proper tools.

Yep. Too bad. They need to put people in the best position to succeed. Hopefully we see a change against UNC, otherwise it will be clear they would rather do it “their way”, instead of win.

4-8, based on our performance so far. Could it better? Sure, would love to see a better record than last year. Our game day production tells me the rebuild is on multiple fronts: personnel, culture, and style of offense. Not to mention some of the staff possibly being here for a one year stint, meaning they ain’t it, and therefore their coaching ain’t it either. I hope I am wrong regarding the 4-8 guestimation. I hope our game against UNC corrects this trajectory.

3-9 is our floor. 6-6 if we get every bounce and our opponents play their worst game of the season each time out.

I voted 8-4 last time. MTSU was an expected win so that obviously shifts to the loss column. 7-5, with a loss to Clemson and then two more that we "shouldn't" lose.

Y’all just wake up every day and think:

“Man how can I **** this day up?”

It’s the only explanation I can think of
