I get it. This whole thing was jacked from the jump. When they hired Manny same day I knew this would eventually fall apart. I get hiring Manny if you do a legit search and guys turn you down. But just giving him the job was total ineptitude.

Some were willing to take a wait and see approach but the overwhelming sentiment was that it was a bad idea to hire Manny without interviewing any other candidates a day after promising the fans a nationwide search.

He wouldn't have declared early if he left last year, he’d have left on time. This is an extra year. Also, exceptionally athletic college QBs get drafted for other positions without having played that other position.

Things are bad but Manny has brought in two top 15 classes. Not defending his dumb *** by any means. But Willie didn’t recruit a single skill player for two cycles. No QBs either. The cupboard isn’t stocked here but FSU was barren.

But to ur point, Willie’s detriment was not recruiting skill players & No QB (like, that’s a complete wtf moment).

I think his first class he took like 6 CBs. There’s definitely major issues on both lines and LB here. Hopefully the next coach can hit the portal hard and land good classes there. What makes me optimistic is the QB position. TVD and Garcia have good potential. Not sure about Brown staying when Lashlee leaves. But nonetheless the most important position is in a good place.

Man I’ll never forget when I got the alert Richt retired. I called my brother and was hoping we’d go after Mario. Once the Manny smoke started I was ****ed. Laziness at its finest.

Not the fight this just happened but the guy I’ve mentioned several times having a close relationship with on a staff said they’ve all quit on manny. He’s lost his locker room and staff. My two Texas boys are contemplating coming home which I know you guys don’t care about Corey but arroyo would be a big loss

Been thinking about this all day. It bothered me then and it really gets me now. But thinking about some of your other posts too.... Seems like a divide within the coaching staff too... Possibly some of them willing to throw Manny under the bus? Am I reaching?
