Ferman has a feature article this morning about what needs to be changed during the bye week to put this team back on the path to winning games. He talked about the team connection - no man left behind mentality. To illustrate this, he and Shodell talk about what they saw at the end of the Virginia game. Apparently the entire team bolted off the field after the missed field goal - everyone but Xavier Restrepo. He was kneeling down on the sideline with his head down in his hands. No one came back for him; no one made sure he was okay. Everyone just left. The only people left around were the Virginia guys celebrating out on the field. Both of them said they were really surprised that none of the team seemed to notice he was kneeling like that alone. No players or coaches.... He apparently stayed like that for a bit. No one ever came back out.
