Fight broke out during Canes practice.

Look, I truly hope you're right. I love my Canes and always wish them success. And yes, I do very well remember the football locker room. Lotttt of testosterone indeed.

This could very well be the catalyst these guys needed to refocus themselves and for the team leaders to assert themselves. I have my doubts though, to be honest. I think the train is too far gone down the track. Had this happened say right after the App St. close victory, I'd feel better about it. But they've waited until after an average MSU team stomped them at HRS AND losing to a below average UVA squad - at HRS.

Also, the team is so poorly coached - bad schemes, no discipline, **** ton of penalties - and we've got so many positions with bad talent that even if they do play inspired ball as a cohesive unit, they won't be able to overcome these deficiencies.

Just not seeing any hope for the season other than to get the young talent some burn.
I think enough potential talent is there to beat the teams in the Coastal div. The problem is the coaching. Even the bad talent would be better with good coaching. Having said this as long as Manny is the CEO they will have a problem beating anyone left on the schedule.

They make jokes about how bad they’re going to get beat , they also make jokes on the coaches and the scheme. You’d think they were posters here. That’s real talk.
i did a thing GIF

I remember Haselwood from OU speaking on these issues and a few folks brushed it off as hatin.
No wonder Jalen Hurts passed on us and didn’t think twice about it. Our recruiting pitch to him involved poppin bottles at LIV and acting like we were in one of DJ Khalid’s music videos while they flossed the turnover chain.

All this coming out. Mopes saw this coming from years away. Slurpers, with their head stuck up Manny’s Diass, defended him to no end.

The next coach will have one **** of a challenge fixing this culture. Get a disciplinarian here ASAP. Someone like Butch who our kids feared back then.

@Dwinstitles Go ahead and call out these slurpers again.

It might not be so bad a fix. The younger guys- the last two classes - seem more serious, more hungry to win. They haven't been around long enough to lose that. Thankfully most of the upper classmen will move on, either by using up their eligibility or maybe just being told to use any remaining eligibility elsewhere. could be a lean roster for a bit but it looks like they'll get some additional spots with the new transfer counter rules likely passing.

Hope so.

What you see now with the upperclassmen have been a culmination of losing and getting used to losing. They have not known what it takes to be great. Overall, a culture of complacency. Combined with a head coach that does not command respect, everything that Cribby posted feels like it was only a matter of time. How can you expect these kids to be leaders when you’re lacking leadership at the top? I’ve always said the team takes the personality of the head coach.

The next coach definitely needs to tell a few of the upperclassmen to look elsewhere since most are not going to the league.

I tend to agree. Kids try and get away with whatever you allow them

Not saying there wouldn’t be casualties but someone that commands respect comes in it won’t be long before things change
