Fight broke out during Canes practice.

Add the fact that we have zero leadership from the head coach and zero leadership among the players. After the UNC game, it will get real ugly.
It's really gonna pop off when they hit Downs wide open for 75 yards 1st play of the game because he runs right by Ivey or Rique expecting Bolden to be over top. No way they recover from that

@Baba Yaga
New GIF alert.
Homework assignment.
Here's a quick one to hold you guys over.

While this is probably just the locker room falling all the way apart it is good that they are gonna fight for SOMETHING this year. Fvck knows half the guys play with 50% effort on gamedays anyways. Hope our regular low effort plus poor play guys got clocked by someone who gives a crap

To the contrary this is a sign of players taking the lead. I don't know if this is Manny first attempt at punishing units for the slipshod effort of one person, but this does work. Slack players will raise their level of play or become isolated and eventually transfer.

Nothing wrong with putting pressure on the players to put pressure on the players.

Been around a lot of teams in my life playing multiple sports in college and coaching multiple sports in college. 7/10 times the locker room turmoil is what happens right before everything collapses. The other 3/10 times stuff gets straightened out and fixes the issue. If it's toxic turmoil it's gonna be the 70% most likely. If it's a tight-knit locker room and it pops off you're far more likely to turn it around.

The sad part of this is.. they can't overcome the limitations of our offensive and defensive philosophies and it's gonna only get worse.. Even if they wanted it to get better.

I'd prepare to not even make a bowl game.

Yep. I've heard several interviews with former pros who all said "whenever you hear 'players only meetings', that's NEVER a good thing and never amounts to anything"

The fight started because the d was getting lit up like the Fourth of July. So rather than stopping the o they showed their little bottoms. No leadership on this team from
the top down.

Eh...to me fights are a common thing at practice. I used to be a regular at practice eons ago and fights were pretty commonplace when guys would get frustrated.
