Fermaninator says get your Adidas Cane gear

TexasA&M , Michigan,Louisville, ucla, Wisconsin, and others use Adidas ,guess who else? *****.... The guys who invented Adidas and Pumas where both German brothers who designed the SS uniforms....(fun fact)...so they been in the uniform business for a while, they must be good

The one thing I'm concerned about with the Adidas is that they are of lower quality than Nikes. This could translate into an Adidas shoe blowout on what would have been a long TD run in Nikes. Nikes are way better quality.

You might be correct. Zia Lau Phing at Nike is a much more skilled $0.21 per hour craftsman than that hack Xing Ling Ping at Adidas.

$3M MORE than what Nike is offering us would be an absolute monster deal, probably one of the biggest in college sports. Nike pays schools pretty cheap.

This year FSU got $4,400,000 from Nike, Alabama got $3,570,000 and Ohio State got $4,164,014.

On the flipside Adidas pays big, $8,200,000 to Michigan this year, $7,500,000 to UCLA, $6,375,000 to Kansas, $5,550,000 to Tennessee.

Auburn and Maryland are getting $4,300,000 from UA.

Facts. Who cares who makes the uniform. No way they change the design after one year

Sweet deal with colosseum before long....

If this is true then how dare Donna sign off on such a monumental decision on her way out the door?! Clearly something that should be left up to the next president, eh?

Loser brand for a loser program. No clue what apparel sales earn the school but I've got plenty of Nike gear to not buy this ****. Why not get UA into a bidding war w Nike.

I just bought all of the current jerseys over the season, and now they're possibly going to change them? What the heck is going on?

You just got UMed!

Tell me about it. This makes no sense at all.

As far as canning them, I won't, just doesn't make sense to do something like that. But then again.......

Usually the only major thing (if the NFL is a barometer) that changes initially is the company logo on the jersey. That said, at this point I wouldn't even mind another complete overhaul once a new corch is named.

i wonder how some of those hall of fame players in the 90's survived in those russel athletic jerseys get a grip guys, some of you have been brainwashed with this brand loyalty crap, just get a winning product on the field.

Think y'all are being a bit dramatic. Adidas is still a huge brand. Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard just to name a couple

D rose, huh? I'm a bulls fan and he's been experiencing nothing but knee injuries since pimping adidas shoes. D Howard....nothing but knee and back injuries. Iman Shumpert...same thing. KG once he switched, started experiencing Shin problems. I'm a true sneaker head and Nike is the optimum when it comes to shoes, including cleats. I hope Miami does the right thing and stay w/ Nike.

Lol by your logic, guess kobes injuries were bc of Nike since he was healthy w Adidas lol

Every shoe company has their flaws...****, even Curry complained about Nike not giving him the ankle support needed and that was a reason why he switch to Under Armour (plus they offered more money)...but there was an article talking about the amount of serious injuries from footware and those who wore Adidas suffered way more serious injuries than those who wore Nikes...one idea is that Adidas, who specialize in European design, mainly focused on Futbol, Tennis, and casual wear. The quality put into to more American athletics were not quite there. Meanwhile, Nike's main focus was American Sports from the get-go....once again, that's just a theory...it could also be just coincidence as well, I'm not a shoe quality expert.

Here's what I do know, Nike is an iconic brand and the swoosh does lure kids. When KU went from Nike to Adidas, it hurted their recruiting immediately. Some recruits have flat out refused to go to a school just b/c they weren't sponsored by Nike. Stupid? Possibly, but it is what it is. My cousin refused to go to Auburn b/c they were sponsored by UA and he chose Ole Miss instead (before transferring to Southern Miss). Just saying.

to offer a counter example to your cousin, Andrew wiggins chose an Adidas school over a Nike school. Also the nba uses adidas. Also nfl switched from reebok to Nike not Adidas to Nike for whoever said it earlier

NFL went from Adidas to Nike in 2013. And yes, Wiggins did chose an Adidas school...just like he chose to sign w/ Adidas now. Nike doesn't need to throw the bank at players....the residual income from shoe sales is enough. There are alwasys going to be exception to the rules, but don't think that a Wiggins is the rule...he's more the exception.
