Adidas is horrible.

What the **** is happening to this program?

It's 3 more million. GTFO if u would stick w a Company offering you less

3 million.

3 whole million?

They just raised $100 million and we're talking about 3 million to leave the most recognizeable brand in athletic clothing to go to butt ugly Adidas and ironically...ultimately...end up LOSING more than $3M in sales because of the ugly ******* gear.

GTFO with your *** backwards logic. Sometimes less is more. The issue here is we have the cheapest bunch of ******* decision makers in the country.
As long as the U remains the same we're still going to sell merchandise.we had bra straps for years w Nike and we still sold jerseys. Nothing can be worse than bra straps and theremwere a ton of people who hated the new jerseys

ASU just got 33 million to switch to Adidas.

What happens when Miami gets more and people still think they are poor?

it's not just look. Addidas is the worst when it comes to performance and function. Athletes don't want to wear their crap. The reason Nike offers less money is because they don't have to pay teams as much to wear their gear. Athletes want to wear Nike. Under Armor would have been better but this is crap. Now, if all of a sudden the Athletic Department can afford to fire Al, then I'm all for it.

I dislike Adidas and have NEVER owned anything Adidas, but.....

"Our research shows most Nike schools could double (apparel revenue) if they went to serious competition," said AJ Maestas, president of Navigate Research, which measures sports and entertainment marketing. "It's a basic negotiating error, failing to take right to the open market.

"This is smart of ASU and a compliment to their professional business practices. Kudos to them for maximizing revenue instead of automatically renewing."

ASU is receiving $2,110,000 in equipment and cash from Nike for 2014-15. The Adidas deal is worth $4.225 annually through June 2023, moving ASU into the top 10 nationally in apparel revenue and second in the Pac-12 behind UCLA based on data compiled by the Portland Business Journal.

Wait, doesn't Nike give tons of money to Ducks and Underarmor support Maryland? I understand that kids might prefer other stuff, but we should not wear crap from company owned by someone spending millions on competitors. I am sure that is not the reason our stupid administration did this, but I happen to agree with taking the Adidas money.
