Ferman says Hightower wants back in

We don't need this kid. He never showed anything here and has stone hands. We have some talented WRs coming. Kick rocks. Does he really want back in or would no other college he wanted take him?

We don't need another big athletic kid that can't catch. Hands should be your priority as a WR. Dude is just a big athlete, I don't care what he did in 7 on 7 flag football he never did crap on the field. As bad as our offense was our WRS for the most part showed improvement outside of JT4.

Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.
Its amusing how you all talk about his hands while has two drops in his time here. Actually watch games instead of spewing filth from ur mouth for the **** of it. Was far more drops than that out of people yall swear were great. Wont get into d but its hysterical how yall mikes biggest fans yet that boy has balls bouncing of him like a chick in a gangbang flick.

I dont think its that bizarre. He hired a former HC that had studied under Saban. Its reasonable to think that a 1st year HC would have full confidence in his very experienced OC to hire the right people for his offense. Obviously didnt work out but letting the OC hire his own staff isnt that odd.
It's not letting the OC hire his own staff that's the problem or what makes it bizarre. If you hire an OC as a HC coming from the defensive side of the ball, that part is reasonable. But, if you're a 1st year head coach and therefore you know your big hype plan has raised expectations that hinge on the offense succeeding, you double back and check on the reasoning for every decision that can affect execution.

I run a fledgling technology startup company. I've got some programming/product/technical skills, but partnered with a far more experienced engineer because of the complex nature of the product we set out to build. If I let our CTO hire the next 5 engineers without verification they fit the culture or have the requisite resume, that **** is 100% on me. If I just let it ride blindly (don't know if that's true or not), I find that bizarre. Now, these coaches are million dollar salaried folks (as opposed to ****head startup guys at "lower" stakes) running a multi-million dollar program. You'd expect at least the same.

In order to be a successful CEO to anything you have to have high attention to detail. In this case, Diaz should have met with all the coaches Enos wanted to bring and identify if they’re a good fit for your vision and what you want to accomplish. I almost don’t believe it.

Absolutely. You can bet he won't make that mistake again....

The problem is I think you are looking at outcomes and drawing an inference that either Diaz didnt check the reasoning or was too dumb/inexperienced to realize the reasoning was flawed. Just because it didnt work doesn't mean Enos didnt provide solid reasoning.

Barry- 4 years as NFL assistant OL coach. Coached for Enos. On paper looks like good hire

Stubblefield- probably most questionable hire

Field- was director of recruiting at Oregon. School landed top ranked class in its history. Knows SFL landscape. Good hire on paper

Hickson- another S Fl guy, average resume. Dont think he was the problem

So I'm all for criticizing Diaz but I think this one (that he wasn't diligent on monitoring Enos's hire) is more of a case of things not working out and then retroactively blaming it on Diaz for not being enough of a leader ( which is evident in other instances)

We'll see.

Word from a lot of folks that run football camps in Southern California is that he hated Miami from day one and that his departure was a long-time coming.
You mean those same people who claim to have developed him. Lol. People would love to be able to pretend they know this that and the third just like gebbias father. Problem with that is my nephew is a recluse. He would go to those camps simply to compete. Ask ivins & these others reporters how much he tells them. Honestly I'm done justifying his actions to a bunch of strangers. Yall just wanna be informed of everything and dont know ****. You know how stupid it sounds to say he didn't want to be here when he literally couldve gone anywhere. Just move on like buddy says. Very unlikely no matter what happens that he comes here. So u and ur insiders can feel good.

Thanks man. Appreciate your view...I hope he comes back as we can use him!

I've repeatedly said "bizarre, if true." Based on what has been said on here about Diaz blindly allowing Enos to hire, which I give some possible credence because the person saying it has said many accurate things in the past. Again, "if" true.

I don't completely agree with you on the Enos thing, however. Diaz needs to own all of the blame for the result there. Retrospect or not. The poor result is as much caused by Enos' unwillingness to adjust as it was by what he trotted out there. So, sure, Enos had a "pedigree" (previous jobs) that indicated at least more success than what we saw, but I think the huge gap that caused disaster is partly attributed to his incredible rigidity. None of us were in those conversations between Diaz and Enos, but you'd think the flexibility would also be addressed on the frontend.

Your a walking Faqquit....Literal waste of a Man...No one wants you...but you keep wanting back in....

No one wanted Hightower and now he wants back in. Lol poor dude has some maybe family member sharing fake stories online to get his kicks. All you do is praise BH and talk down the other wideouts and coaches. Everything bad that happened to Hightower is because of everyone else and not him according to you.

I appreciate you wish him success but I'd love to know how you figure he never wanted to be here... yall have no clue what plenty of these kids were going through. For the ones who stuck it out and still continue to fight for a staph that literally tried to sabotage them to the point of playing with their health that's on them. But I'd be real curious what people on here would do if they had options and were in the same spot. His teammates know who he is. **** be okay with a message board having their own perceptions. This football community is a real small world. EVERYTHING EVERYONE DOES from coaches to players it gets around.

Excuse my ignorance but I’ve been very busy and haven’t read the entire thread. I’ve been waiting for you response to this , is it true or more furburger bs?
