Ferman reporting the money is now there to get Mario

Man, I caught the ban button from him a decade ago for having first hand knowledge on some team matters he was blowing smoke about. I eviscerated him on his own board about what a hack he was with clear and direct inside info. He eventually emailed me, saying I could come back, I just had to apologize.

I still cannot believe he said Blake was a barrier. That is up there as perhaps his greatest lie that he's attempted to sell. He has been around this program a long *** time and there's absolutely no way he's that oblivious to how things work or how Blake is anything (truth be told, that's out AD's in general) more than just the public figurehead of our big dollar donors. They want something done, it'll get done.

People saying there is no chance Mario comes are dead wrong. The program is in a dark place but there are people like Mario that would love nothing other than restoring the brand. It is not going to happen right now (I have heard zero news about it actually being an option this offseason) but it is definitely a viable option after year 2 of Manny if he falters again which is looking more and more likely by the second. And Blake will be fired as well.

Lets put it this way to you..

your Mario's agent..

Do you leverage any play Canes make at him for a fat extension with Oregon. Tell him to stay two more years and win two more Pac12 titles and maybe make a playoff, then make his next move to get paid again for serious money, maybe even NFL?

Or do you get him a fat deal like Taggart with a $20 mil buyout and risk in two or 3 years Mario get canned. Then Mario is damaged goods, only got paid once, and is stuck coaching UCF, but he followed his heart back to the U?

Miami is not firing Manny and buying out Mario in year 1. Manny has another year and if he wins 8 games he will get the 3rd year

As Manny should get another year, as one year isn't a fair enough sample size—despite how inept he looked year one.

Furthermore, Mario's buyout will drop in time—as will his stock, as Oregon will take a step back in 2020 with the Ducks don't have Herbert under center.

News flash; should Miami bring on Highsmith and should multiple donors have seven-figures apiece to put up—Diaz will need to do more than pretty good to ensure a third year; he'll have to have this thing trending upwards, while proving he has the moxie and a game plan. Without that, he'll be replaced.

No different than a business that gets acquired or brings in new management—they're gonna want "their guys" so the current staff has to over-exceed expectations, as good might not be good enough.

Why would he come? Nostalgia? He's getting paid where he's at. He's recruiting well and at the top of a good power 5 conference. Playoffs and more is within his grasp.

Miami is almost a career ruiner at this point.
To restore greatness. To do what many others have failed before him. If he succeeds, he'll truly be king.

You are thinking like a loser. That's not how Mario thinks.

Urban Meyer is not coming to Miami, nor would I want him here. My money is on Jerry Jones writing Heart Attack a blank check to bring in whoever he wants.

Listen, IF this is true about the money being there, why did we have to skimp out on staff? Richt gave us a gift of not taking the buyout, so if ALL this money is there, why didn't we have a kickass coaching staff? Why are we getting Stubblefield from Air Force? Or a fired assistant offensive line coach from Tampa Bay??

If you're Blake James, the next few weeks are going to decide your future at Miami. If you don't make changes, drastic changes NOW, it will hurt the program over the long run. Soon even the four-star kids are not going to be easy sells. Kids want to play for winners, PERIOD.

We didn't skimp. We have one of the highest paid staffs in the conference. Manny brought in those scrubs.

I'm fine being called a loser if I'm looking at it from a smart Biz perspective money wise, let alone winning results wise with what he's got at Oregon..

cross your toes, close your eyes and keep wishing mario's coming home, let alone the U has the bank lined up to bring him back

Mario believes he can restore Miami to greatness, then springboard after 5 to 8 years into a top flight NFL HC job just like Jimmy Johnson.

That's why you want him to come. He can do all those things and be king where he is. But with more money and a better chance for success.

Unless DBC issues a Level One confirmation, I won't Belize the Mario rumors are true.

No. That's why he wants to come.

You guys are trying to warp reality. Mario's #1 job is at Miami. He could literally give two ***** about Oregon.

Bro are you off your ****** Meds? Are you in Mario's head?
He can stay in Oregon and might springboard to NFL in two years like Chip Kelly did from Oregon..
What happened to the last Oregon coach came home to FL?

ECL posted facts man and so did I..

I know what Mario has said numerous times to very important people at UM.

i can see that interview lasting 30 seconds.
Well Mario how can we make this happen”?
You’re gonna have to make this place look like the Oregon facilities minus the stadium.
James: we’re currently in talks with the city and the bot about........ we’re trying to negotiate with the ........ we’ve made some headway .........we’ve also been told by adidas that........
Mario: Ok thanks for flying me out.

Why do you think he wants to come to a worse situation with less money and support? Do you have any evidence whatsoever that he would possibly even want it? By your logic he should want to go to Western Kentucky to do what Petrino couldn't even do, and be king.

Remember he left Miami after a few days to take a similar job at Alabama.

You sound like a woman saying you know what's in the mans head and you want to talk about warping reality? I'm stepping off this
