Feldman: FSU adding Tom Herman to football staff

I wonder who should be more upset: Norvel or Tim Harris the current OC. Did the administration force this hire on Norvel OR did Norvel bring him in to help put together gameplans and call plays? With Herman there now what exactly do they need Harris for?

Dude was the hottest name in coaching at one point. Classic example of a dude that got hyped for “coaching” loaded rosters and/or a generational talent. Got exposed quick when that went away.

People are laughing at Herman only making $25 an hour, but it’s pretty good money for a position where all you basically have to do is tell the DC “we have no DL, we need better players” every week.

Running a 3-4 with a line that likely can’t generate much pass rush, slow LBs that have poor vertical movement, and a relatively small secondary is a recipe for disaster. Doesn’t take an expert to tell you sht will hit the fan.
 
I haven't even thought of that dude since Golesh clowned him after a USF/FAU game. That dude is down bad.

It's pretty good money for a guy who is being paid $1.5M for his final year at FAU when he doesn't have to show up to work at FAU any longer.
 
Norvell is trash. Dude has to be like the jefferey epstein of tallahasse. whatever he has on people is bad lol

I still think FSU is a great job for the right coach.

I believe that’s similar to what Kevin Steele was doing for numerous teams that didn’t compete with each other before we hired him (before the 2 week position at Maryland).
Then when he went to Bama after Miami it was to get those extra hrs/months to be fully vested in state pension plan.

he basically works remote, shows up on gameday, and gets to work out and chill all day.

hes also got his money from texas and houston.

dude is doing fine.
