Feldman- Aranda Possibly To Baylor

I ask this question all the time... but can somebody explain to me how Baylor has a football program? How have they not gotten in any trouble for the Art Briles situation???

Penn State, same thing?? smh

they all jumping ship? Think Coach O sold his soul for one championship.

aranda has been a DC for a long time now so it makes sense to try out being an HC esp if given the a good opp at Baylor. Brady was always going to be an NFL guy and was obvious w his work with burrow that he was going to get offers. if aranda goes, O will be back to being what he was as a coach. id assume theyll finally promote raymond to DC.

Between Bliss and Briles it should've been shuttered as an institution. I guess having Ken Starr as president somehow allowed them to survive. No to mention Waco really is in Kabumfuk, Texas so there was no local pressure. Probably only local support if I had to guess.

I doubt he’ll ever be a more valuable stock than he is right now.

Make the move, and see what happens.

Worst case, he’s not successful and they fire him. He’ll get buyout money and be in high demand to be a DC.

Best case ... He’s successful, and has the option of staying at Baylor of taking a better job.

No lose situation, really ...

I'm hearing rumors that if hired that Aranda will try to lure Lashlee back to Texas as his first hire.

I'm actually 1000% just joking but it would be the type of drama that would no longer surprise any of us.

LSU attrition grows. Promoting Corey Raymond makes sense, as a previous poster wrote. It would not surprise if Coach O tried the NFL assistant route again.

Just think, Coach O could’ve avoided all this attrition if he went the Miami route and had a staff full of mental midgets that not even D3 schools want to hire away as coordinators, much less HC.
Yes. but he could never accept a shut out loss to La Tech.

Not impossible, but I'm very skeptical. It's widely known Aranda is very comfortable in his "I'm the greatest DC alive I dare you to fire me" role in life.

He's made comments that makes HC $ without HC pressure and bull****. I believe he has a limited media contact clause in his contract even.

Perhaps that has changed, but surprised a Baylor is going to pony up that kind of cha-ching. They share many similarities to our favorite Univ of Coral Gables.

You always being the logical one.

Tough to argue against.
