It should offer something unique to the app only if you want usage.
If it just a redundant copy of the mobile browser, what's the point.
What I would suggest in the app is a better GameDay experience vs the game day thread we currently have...that could be its unique feature as well.

I agree with this. Having something unique for game time discussions would be a benefit. Something along the lines of real time scrolling messages, rather than the limitations of a board based thread.

By the time you make a comment, you’re three pages behind on the mobile version.

Eliminating "pages" for comments would be biggest functional improvement, for me.

Just one long thread of comments you can scroll. Scroll up to top and release to refresh. Ability to sort comments by newest (gameday thread) or oldest (regular discussion). In other words, the same way most forum apps function. Though I'm not sure how those 20,000-page legacy posts would be handled.

In any case, app is a great idea. Kudos for the constant efforts to make CIS better. It's easy to support this company.

I can't seem to go directly to the Game Day threads. I have to go though the Eye and Recruiting threads, then hit the list on the left, select Gsme Day and then select the game going on. Too many steps.
It's annoying. Though I guess anything that slows my access to the madness on the Game Day thread is a good thing.
