Feagles 1st three punts last night:

I’m sure Jeff Feagles is a great guy and alumni to the university but at the end of the day he was just a punter and needs to be told ur kid is trash.

The fact that his son even has a scholarship to punt anywhere on earth let along UM is the definition of entitlement.

First one wasn't really his fault. The next two were inexcusable. But the bottom line is this: Hartley does not have our ST ready to play each week, and the evidence for that is that we always have at least two ST blunders every game. This runs deeper than Feagles. I'm not making excuses for him, but if you have a weak kicker — who possesses little confidence — your punt protection can't hang him out to dry on the first punt of the season so that it's almost blocked. I blame Hartley the most for this abortion of a unit.

Yep. First punt of the year and 2 guys just watch a defender go right between them. How is that possible? Wouldn't your instincts kick in and at least shove the guy?

Guarantee you that after he transfers he starts looking like an all-American. Hartley and the staff have fvcked him up. The kid has a monster leg, and routinely annihilated the ball in HS. Gets to UM and it disappears. Can only be one explanation. A 25 year old lookin ST coach cast a spell on him.

How is the punter to blame for unblocked rusher nearly killing him on the first freaking put?
You bet he saw it coming and miraculously short kicked/got it off. Kudos to him! That certainly was in his head the next time and it showed.
By the fourth of fifth punt (can't remember given the freaking fiasco of a game), he was actually hitting them ok, once realizing I guess that they were actually going to block for him.
It's pretty f'd up to be blaming players when the blame is 100% on head coach and his underlings. Who the F prepared them for that first punt where someone comes through totally unblocked?? It sure wasn't Feagles.

Let’s not forget the abortion of a sequence right before half. We were going to get the ball at the 20 yard line and we get called for running into the kicker (****** call, happened right in front of me) and then we get flagged for leaping. At the end of the day, they have to coach their guys on situational awareness. It’s the end of half and we have them pinned deep. Let’s set up a return and at least start in FG position. Nope. Not us

The 1st punt was a great play by Feagles to avoid what seemed like a certain punt block. When the spider cam showed the formation I could tell they were likely gonna block it so he was probably anticipating it too.

That may have interrupted his process for the following punts but it's his job to be consistent and stay calm under pressure. The way I see it he's at strike 2 for this season and another disaster punt should get him pulled.

The more I think about the Baxa FG the more ****ed I get.

Tie game, 3rd and 6 and if I’m an OC worth a **** I’m thinking you have two plays to get 6 yards. I’m salivating at that.

Instead I’m going to ask a true freshman kicker in the most insane environment/stadium he may ever see in his lifetime, to bail me out again because my playcalling is a ****** joke

**** man

So many ppl wanted to keep Hartley bc he can recruit smh... he is the worst position coach of all time at any position. It’s not just the kickers inability to kick but also our punt protection is fckd, LSU could’ve crashed up the middle every time for a block punt it was so wide open.

We don’t know how to block on kick or punt returns either... and are terrible filling the lanes and tackling on kick offs as well. Hartley gotta go and take Feagles *** with him.

Keep him at TE and that is it. We need him for recruiting. Without him we are going to be recruiting straight 3 stars with a couple of 4s.

On the bright side, his last 2 punts were 54 and 52. Hopefully all that is out of his system.

Bosher-8 shanks as a sophomore including some fugly ones.

Feagles with 52&54 gives me hope. If we can have more of those and less shanks, kid will be AA as a senior. Bigger issues were QB and penalties. We complete a few passes and that punter doesn’t see the field!

Bosher had some growing pains but We saw his potential yeah he shanked some punts early on in his career but they were never back to back to negative punt to 10 yard punt. Feagles is what he is... the WOAT.

Feagle not being able to flip field position is just as big of a problem as the qb play imo
