I think firing coaches early doesn't help the team unless he is a cancer. Unfortunately, you really need a new coach in place a couple weeks before signing day and the portal is just a couple weeks after that. I would think you want to do this during a bye week which they are in. I was told they have the buyout money ready.

I think he coaches until the last game. Really no need to fire him. Unless he wants to leave immediately. I would announce we are moving in another direction around the 9th game. Let him coach the last 2 to 3 games.

Then if I was Mario, I would pick up the phone immediately and say we have a spot on the staff

IF?! Well ….If my aunt had nuts, she’d be my uncle. We can play the IF game forever. ****…. IF the refs don’t ***** up #6’s TD in the 3rd, we win 33-7! Would that have been good enough for your liking, sir? Billy didn’t almost outcoach no **** body. ****, UiF put together ONE drive. ONE!!! Once Hetherman made the proper adjustments…. Game Over! **** was shut down! Guess what? Billy got a team full of P4 athletes too. We not gonna blow everyone out. Not to make excuses, but rain played a part in our lack of scoring and so did the Gator Defense. UiF got a good defense. WTF do yall want? That was a dominant defensive performance for the good guys and the offense did enough to not lose the game. IF?! GTFO wit that bull****!! . Enjoy being 4-0.I’m out.
