For the longest time, it was Dorsey to Shockey.

But Rosier taunting the FSU fans, the players in their own house and then throwing a TD to Langham, that was pretty badass.

Snatched their souls out of existence.

The effort Sean Taylor gave, we all refer to it as "The Sean Taylor Game". Dude got a game named after him. He was literally all over the field.

Personal favorites are McGahee screen, Vanover hit & Shockey TD.

I’ll add one I haven’t seen mentioned: Sinorece Moss to tie it late (2004). That was still before the wheels fully came off. I remember going ape**** when he scored.

  1. Barrow ‘targeting’ Vanover. For the sheer violence.
  2. Wide Right 1 Missed FG in 1991. No NC without the miss.
  3. Dorsey-Shockey TD in last minute in 2000. We back.
  4. Jeff Davis game-winning FG in 1983. No NC without the kick.
  5. Walsh to Irvin TD in last minutes in 1987.
  6. Carlos Jones pick-6 to seal win in 1994.
  7. Fake punt with DJ Williams in 2003 Orange Bowl.
  8. Vinny Testaverde scramble and TD pass to Alonzo Highsmith in 1986.
  9. Last play of 31-0 season opener in 1988. For the shutout of preseason #1 FSU
  10. Berlin to Moss TD in last minute to tie in 2004. Win in OT. Chrissy Rix goes 0-5 vs The U.
Got to take 3 to 1. Without Davis hitting that in last moments of that game, probably no OB bid and no 1st NC. Then is was just a great two or three lost year. Even if we get the OB bid and beat NE, Auburn wins the NC.

#10 on your list was my first FSU vs. Miami game in the West Endzone. Moss caught that screen and ran for the TD, nuts!! Frank Gore for the game winning TD run in OT. Pandemonium!!

That's a great list. 1 was the first one that came to mind, it just epitomized what we were about back then. 3 on the list was the second thing I thought of. That was just one **** of a moment.

Thanks.

Another poster reminded of ST26’s pick-6 against FSU in 2003, in the rain. Slap me.I was focusing on the 80s-90s because I’m older (55) and these younger posters only remember 2000s.

Dramatic ending to an absolutely terrible game. I’m happy the Labor Day season opening games against FSU ended. I can’t remember any of those games being well played by either team.

So many to choose from, but I'm going with the scoreboard operator. When the Nole fg kicker went wide left (easy prediction cause no way was he missing to the right) the scoreboard guy immediately flashed Wide Left I. Just brilliant.

My all time favorite and there have been so many great ones but Gino to Lamar is tops. My cugina wasn’t our best QB but G was as tough as anyone and a true Hurricane on and off the field.

I remember sitting in the last row of the upper deck of the Orange Bowl on the home side. Remember thinking this was going to collapse.
