That Mallory play reminded me of some Jeremy Shockey ****, the way he bullied that defender.
We need to feed that kid the ball more. His speed and catch radius is ridiculous.
And it feels good having an OC who knows how to put them in position to make plays.Jordan and mallory need to be the focal point of the passing game. Complete mismatches against anyone they face
And Jordan laying it on the d-back when reaching the sideline reminded me of Winslow. That Mallory play reminded me of some Jeremy Shockey ****, the way he bullied that defender.

He would be a nightmare by the goal line. Just have him sit just inside the goal as DKing go for a fake run up the middle get to the pile and just high point it to Will. They won’t be able to stop it without pass interference. No need to keep running up the gut with little success.I'm so high on Mallory honestly. He's an absolute athletic freak and I really think they need to involve him more. I'm sure it's in the plans so I'm not *****ing, but just lob this dude the ball on some seam routes and let rim run by or through small *** dbs. His yac will be huge.
Yes, we have had so many guys open like that for years and we miss the guy or over throw him or the guy drops it like Kevin Everett. King just laid the ball in there like a hand off. Maybe we are seeing a new program emerge in 2020.Knighton's catch. Beautiful play call and executed perfectly. Something we've seen far and few between the past decade.
I want Lashlee to bust them out in tandem a ton against Clemson to mix it up.Jordan and mallory need to be the focal point of the passing game. Complete mismatches against anyone they face
Chaney got moving in his deep route as well, wonder.how.fast he was going.King 2 Rooster on the wheel route. So buttery smooth, and he even did his signature crossing the finish line move we saw in his HS highlights so often. Knighton was clocked by Recruiting Analytics at 21.8mph, and Cam was clocked at 22mph on his long run.
agreed.
one thing Coach Cozza used to talk to me about was being able to "target the radius." which meant me as QB throwing being able to throw a guy open horizontally or vertically, even when technically, the coverage appeared to take away the route. you needed two skills: great accuracy and ball placement from the QB, and one the other end, a receiver who had a good command of the radius and understood how to use it. Mallory has his part down, big time.
p.s. Coach Cozza said the two best players he ever coached for understanding this were john spagnola and calvin hill. too bad i was too young to play with either, as I would have had a **** of a lot more completions.
I'm not giving up on Pope yet. I think he'll get better and better as the year goes on.Mallory, Jordan, Cam with a sprinkle of Rooster, Don, & Kings legs. Hopefully a WR1 will emerge. Would take us to an elite level.
If I remember correctly, he ran like an 11 sec 100 meter in high school. Kid has some wheels, but he just bullied the one defender on the sideline. Kid is prototypical NFL TE stuff. Hope he stays next year and gets to be featured in this offense.Yeah. Miami is over 500 yards of offense if the Mallory play stands. I didn’t know he had that type of speed or shiftiness
this one for me. Setup perfectly with the motion away.
I'm betting you money at some point during the year we'll see this play again and instead of the give, we'll throw it to Harley and he'll throw a double pass. Sit back and enjoy guys, we finally have a legit OC who knows what the fvck he is doing and will use all the tools he has available.
