From what I’ve been reading were tons of dorm parties at UNC.

These are the same kids that are happy to jump on twitter and socially shame and degrade people, but can’t control their own behavior.

They will be having some on campus students in the health sciences, so I know it’s not 100% online for every undergraduate, but just probably like well over 90%.

You can blame UNC administration for not policing enough, and you would be correct to a certain extent, but at some point it becomes the personal responsibility of the students themselves.

Without cooperation from the student body, it would never work.

Way to go UNC students.

i think its 100 percent for undergrad but grad students go as is.

also, MIami just had dorm parties during move in this past weekend so yeah this is gonna be tough. Bama students got called out by its own football team and AD for partying it up at a bar (no masks or distancing).

the bubbles the teams were in can only work if they remain in them (no students on campus). btw, yes students are tested prior to their return on campus

(disclaimer: esp to the posters who are notorious for this -- no one gives a **** if youre a believer, conspiracy theorist, or non believer. were in a pandemic whether you agree or not. this is what we are dealing with and the consequences if the actions continue to be reckless during a pandemic)

Good luck to all the undergrads in the sciences that have lab courses this fall semester then. Have a feeling they’ll make an exception for those. Or maybe they can just delay their graduation. I’m sure that will go over real well.

Yeah I heard about the Miami dorm parties, but from what I’m reading about the UNC parties, they didn’t even come close to what was going on in Chapel Hill. Hence I’m not hearing of any breakouts at Miami, yet. Also, remember undergraduate enrollment at UM, is, and I’m just guessing here, about 1/5 of a what it is at UNC

this also one full week at UNC (last week was their first week). miami just started today (most moved in over the weekendish) and yes miami total is about 19 (give or take) while UNC is 30k or so
