Just read it...its from over a year ago though but whatever...

KID CAN RUN....

WHOEVER IS QUESTIONING IF HE HAS SPEED OBVIOUSLY ISNT FROM S.FLA.....

* Booker T doesnt play "slow" guys on their defense...let alone at LB....If you know Booker T....their like firefly on defense...small, fast, guys...i mean they played Chad at DT ....JUST CAUSE....

He had better offers than FAU again.....Arkansas offered, Utah came and snuck in, UCF.......I kinda respect the UCF, and Arkansas offers as UCF (Oleary) has a nice eye for talent....

Which LB in S.FLA was a better option??...Again im not as high on Talan as others...and his offer list isnt that much better...their about equal a s prospects...BUT we have inside info on King as his former hs coach is on STAFF.

Im not a fan of Golden or No Frio's evaluations on defense or COACHING philosophy....but i aint mad at James King take....BTW kids gonna give you their all...

please think before you write....

the sooner you realize this class is horrible at best, the program is not a program but a football squad. The sooner you feel better and understand the hate for this staff, admin BOT etc...its a dumpster fire plain and simple

Not even in the same atmosphere as Talan. (and I'm not saying that cause he's my boy)

Talan has offers from TCU (Patterson), OSU, Nebraska and Pitt (Narduzzi).

If you're gonna sign a 6'0'-6'1" 200-210lb Linebacker in South FLA it's Talan. No other kid down here within that frame plays as fast or as violent as him.
 
Took me all of 2 plays to see that this kid is nowhere near Talan.

Talan = more bend + more speed + more explosion

There's not a single "wow" play on King's highlights.

I don't think he's bad but he looks like an FAU/Utah/UCF player to me.
 
Worst than Jimmy Gaines. Do u guys remember? Oh wait till we get rid of Jimmy Gaines and Kacy Rodgers hahahah.

At this point, who gives a ****? That's how I feel. We can bash the kid all we want but he is ours now. I am not big on a kids offers because who knows whats commitable and what ain't. I bet he had a ARK offer because they want to keep that BTW pipeline open and its worth it to them.

Whether its worth it to us, we will find out in a few years. He isn't an instant impact kid and neither were any of the other LBs we were looking at except TConey. Everyone else would have redshirted too. It will be an interesting argument to have in 2-3 years to see who turned out better and whether this was a wasted scholie.

I respect ya, Mach but this is like saying to your homeboy, "Bro, your fiancé is ugly as ****, why the **** would you marry that fat pig?" Then turning to the fiancé and saying, "No offense babygirl, im not mad at you. Its him that I am blame. We still cool right?"

Fans like me have a hard time toting the line between hating Golden and the admin so much and being negative...and not doing things to make the players feel like we don't appreciate them or care.

Its a tough tight rope to walk that's for sure.

we had a disappointing year so it's not hard to believe our top commits would decommit, especially since our loser fanbase starts making banners to fire the coach and it hate and lies about our coaching staff spreads through the community.

but when I point out the 2016 class, what do you have to say about that?

The 2016 class has potential to get much better as well if we have a good season.

When we inevitably have a disappointing 2015 season, will it then be "not hard to believe our top [2016] commits w[ill] decommit" and head anywhere but UM?

He wasn't knocking the kid. He said he's not as talented as Talan. How is that a knock.

I hear you. I don't mean to dis a kid. How else do I express my opinion on a recruit though? I'm not bashing kids, I'm just giving my honest assessment. How do you give an honest evaluation without "dissing" a kid or not being appreciative of their commitment?

Speaking of offending kids and/or not appreciating them...

Over the last few years I've had arguably 5 kids that were Miami caliber. One of them ended up here but the other 4 weren't even considered. (3 of them were during the Golden era) You don't think those kids felt under-appreciated by their local program? You don't think they were offended? You don't think the countless kids from Miami and Broward that Miami ignores don't feel dissed, particularly when they're receiving offers from BETTER programs?

Reflect on your coaching staff not us casual fans with limitless opinions. The only one dissing and offending kids around here is Al Golden.
