Fat Manny is ripping Golden on QAM

The media has started to turn. Especially the national guys. Goldens is done.

I and many others gave him passes, far too many times. Lots of people were off the "Golden" wagon long ago, now the rest jumped off too.

Golden is clearly not the coach we need. Soft attitude, terrible assistants, wasted talent. There is no reason a team that lost 7 or whatever on Defense holds us to that little offensive production. Our defense got lucky on MANY plays, Louisville left us in the game way longer than we competed to be in it.

I'd rip him too, and I plan to to anyone that will listen, fan or not, until that loser is gone.

Good. The staff deserves a HEAP of criticism, and its well deserved.

Its not THAT we lost, its HOW they lost. The coached scared. Never should have started Kaaya if that is how they were going to coach that game.

Right now Manny is saying that Golden NEVER wins games against good teams/teams with winning records. He states that Mario Cristobal is a better coach than Al Golden is.

Fat Manny said that what Cristobal accomplished at FIU was more impressive than ANYTHING Golden has accomplished at Miami. He also said that he is not surprised that Miami now has trouble beating schools like Duke, because Cutcliffe is a superior coach to Golden, and he recruits far better QBs to Duke than Golden does to the U, so why wouldn't Duke be able to consistently beat Miami when they have better QBs and a better coach.

They also agreed that the hands-down best player to come through UM in the past 8 years was Jimmy Graham, who was a basketball player recruited by Frank Haith. He said that this football program is in BIG time trouble right now.

This is the kind of stuff which will lead to Al being fired. ****ed off alumni, negative reporting from media and even more empty seats will do the job

Penn State dodged a bullet. It hit us though.

Tragic. When that whole thing dropped and it became clear he was interested, I was hoping it would happen. If he's not committed, then he should be gone. It's clear he is committed, to sucking. That's even worse.

Right now in no mood to defend Golden, but Manny doesn't know if football is stuffed or blown up.

The heat is on. And the staff has NO ONE to blame but themselves.

I think most people could have lived with a loss, if this team went out there and played to win. You go with Kaaya, you let the kid play to win. If he implodes as a True Frosh, well, it was what it was. OR you go with Heaps, and if the **** 5th year senior cant move the offense, well, at least you played to win and left it all out there.

But you go with a TRUE FROSH, on the Road, in game one, against a solid team, and then you basically handcuff him and coach scared the whole game, refusing to allow the kid to do anything, running the ball 6 times in a row, running slow developing stupid plays, running into 9 man fronts. That was chickensh*t bullsh*t.

No F*CKING excuse for the way they coached last night. They deserve all the criticism they are getting.

I thought you missed it. Okay, here it is again for you, big, bad, lil' AntwanJ306.

He said Golden whiffed on NUMEROUS recruits, and that's why in year four we suck. He ripped his QB recruiting. He said with all of the great talent down here, Golden shouldn't be getting guys from New Jersey, etc. He brought up the Miami guys on Louisville and other teams that Golden didn't want, not just missed on. He ripped Coley, he said Golden couldn't use the "cloud" anymore. It's not an excuse. He said Golden basically lied to us all summer by saying the OL was good.

How I felt then and now. When a situation like that presents, you take the opportunity to start from scratch. The problem continues to look like it's deeper than the coaching staff.
