I thought you missed it. Okay, here it is again for you, big, bad, lil' AntwanJ306.
Right now Manny is saying that Golden NEVER wins games against good teams/teams with winning records. He states that Mario Cristobal is a better coach than Al Golden is.
Fat Manny said that what Cristobal accomplished at FIU was more impressive than ANYTHING Golden has accomplished at Miami. He also said that he is not surprised that Miami now has trouble beating schools like Duke, because Cutcliffe is a superior coach to Golden, and he recruits far better QBs to Duke than Golden does to the U, so why wouldn't Duke be able to consistently beat Miami when they have better QBs and a better coach.
They also agreed that the hands-down best player to come through UM in the past 8 years was Jimmy Graham, who was a basketball player recruited by Frank Haith. He said that this football program is in BIG time trouble right now.
Penn State dodged a bullet. It hit us though.
How I felt then and now. When a situation like that presents, you take the opportunity to start from scratch. The problem continues to look like it's deeper than the coaching staff.
So, at what point is he "really" on the hot seat? I'm afraid we're not going to be happy with the "real" answer.

We are actually in more trouble. That UL team wasn't very good, not offensively or defensively. And they **** all over us. I have zero doubt some of the players have shut golden out. Nebraska will be the nail where he loses the whole team. I thought the bowl game was the worst coaching I've ever seen, then last night happened. So, at what point is he "really" on the hot seat? I'm afraid we're not going to be happy with the "real" answer.
I think his seat just got quite warm. It wasn't the loss, it was the WAY we lost. That offensive performance looked like a team that had no idea what it was doing. Terrible OL play, terrible play calling, throw a True Frosh out there in game one, on the road, and then have him do nothing because you are scared to death of letting him throw, then WHY THE **** DID YOU START HIM???
Yesterday smacked of amateur hour. At least on the offensive side. Coley is in over his head, BIG TIME. He was a young OC at FIU, then had a brief stint learning under Jimbo at FSU, mostly as a recruiter, and now has to manage the whole offense by himself, because the HC doesn't know d*ck about offense.
There are no X and O coaches on this staff. Kehoe is terrible. Coley is a good recruiter, but the guy is just in WAY over his head as an OC here.
I think a lot of people could have lived with a loss, but the way this team looked yesterday on offense was pathetic. AG's seat just got hot, because in the end, there was a fundamental logic disconnect in the decisions that were made.
Either you roll with Heaps to protect Kaaya, or you throw Kaaya into the fire, and let him sink or swim. But you don't throw the kid into the fire, and then try to coach from the fetal position running into 9 man fronts terrified to throw the ball or do anything.
I actually don't think this team is in as bad a shape as we looked last night. Some competent coaching and organization on offense, and we have the talent to be playing in the ACCCG. But this staff is in total disarray. And AG is in a real BIND IMO. Coley is his best recruiter, but its clear that the guy is in WAY over his head as an OC.
I didn't think it was possible for us to find a coach who is worse than Shannon, but by God we did.
The Ville was also without Dyer and the top playmaking WR. Let that sink in for a few seconds, fools.
While I'm not sure that he'd do it, Golden still has the "Fire the majority of your assistants" card to play to buy himself more time and of course The Troll would more than likely eat that **** up like it was 20yr. cooze instead of opting to ****can him and pay the buyout.
