@DMoney mentioned other day there’s always a breaking point , a beat down at Unc and 0-2 in the coarstal could be something to watch.

The UVA, UNC and NC State portion of the schedule always stood out to me. It’s just a matter if they want to drag this out , the toxicity and negativity will just continue to get worse.

Pitt could be that final beat down.

Pickett is having a great season, the Panthers are scoring a lot, and who knows, maybe Mark Whipple (OC) holds a grudge.

Golden had it much harder then Diaz. The cloud seemed indefinite which Golden had no idea was coming, he handled recruiting fairly well with the negative recruiting vs us when teams were saying we were going to be hit as hard as smu football was and then reduction in scholarships.

had Golden gotten even a average dc he would still be coaching here imo. So much wasted talent in the abomination of d that Doritos ran

literally laughed out loud when I read this. After D’Onofrio was fired, he coached a year at a Boys & Girls Club and then applied for the DC at UH. Do you know how D’Onofrio applied? He typed up a letter from his IPhone.
 
Golden hired jedd fish who is now a HC and did very well after he left here

Tell me who Manny has hired that’s got that kind of upside? I’ll wait.

Also the NCAA fd us over for years dragging their feet searching for **** that never existed. You don’t think that takes a toll on your program.

I say they did it deliberately to help the sec gain more traction.

Not defending Golden cause he screwed himself with his BFF, but he was way better than Manny.

Sounds like a golden apologist to me. Butch recruited okay under a worse cloud. No one made Alfraud give scholarships to Larry Hope, Vernon Davis, D'Mauri Jones or Brandon Loftus. No one made him stuck with Dorito long after he hit the iceberg.

Golden's issue was simple, D'nofrio and his scheme. The cloud hurt and he would have definitely performed better without it, but D held him back from keeping his job post the cloud. And it was a career altering mistake.
