Fantastic job not offering Mendoza a scholie three years ago

Can someone pull receipts from the majority of CIS taking this staff to task when we were linked to Mendoza in the portal last year?

Forget that, about a week after the portal opened last Dec. 9th, their were about 2-5 people on this board posting that thought Mendoza was good enough for Miami. When the portal closed Dec.28th, desperation had set in and maybe 20-30 posters wanted him at that point. In saying that, Mendoza wouldn't be a Heisman candidate or 1st RD pick playing at Miami this season.

Easiest thing in the world to talk about what the right move was years after decision was made. My guess is some of you had no idea who Mendoza even was back then.

There’s already a threat on this guys come on

I still really don't see what would actually change all that much with Mendoza instead of Beck unless the coaches stopped being conservative pussies with him... Which there should be no indication that would be the case. So...

The ******* issue is this staff isn't aggressive and pushing the ball down field in the air or even attempting/setting up an explosive play on the ground or combining our **** boring run attack with play action that attacks the intermediate to deep level of the field. That's literally all there is to it.

The interceptions would be much less of an issue off rip. And Mendoza is a willing runner, beck isn’t. I’d say just those two things changes a lot

No the difference is one coach has this mentality

So one coach wants to attack and play and run up the score... One wants to be a conservative lil ***** by gameplan. If you 1for1 swapped Mendoza with Beck everyone would be be talking about 'could have had beck' and that we took Mendoza just cause he's cuban with Columbus connections...

I heard a rumor that Miami wouldn’t take him because he’s ***. It’s just a rumor but that’s what I heard.
