Fan support for Cristobal?

Your responses are the same in defending Mario and you can't see past what MFers are trying to say. We ALL want the team to win and wish Mario in succeeding in doing so BUT that don't absolve him from criticism with his in-game decisions and clock management.

That only exists because you think you know what his in-game decisions are, when you really don't.

Im not even a Mario hater I’m just a Mario stator. People in here defending him like he doesn’t have flaws all over the place is hilarious to me . They’ll find one game where another coach lost as a big favorite then leave off Mario has far more lol. Like it’s apples to apples , it’s more like six crates of apples to a small bag of apples.

I get aggravated at both sides of the Mario pendulum because I’m normally in the middle. But I will say the mopes do shut up when things are good but right when Mario pulls a Mario the slurpers go into full excuse mode . The same excuses they’ve been using for four years . Yes Mario has done a better job than our recent head coaches but let’s not act like he hasn’t been afforded far more financial backing than our last few coaches combined. Which is the key to the game. The financial backing has allotted him the right to keep messing up hires then just making them go away. He’s able to throw money at his mistakes.
You don't watch football outside of Miami games, so you don't really know what great coaching looks like.

i trust mario to do everything he can to win and build us back. i dont know if he will get it done, but he will def leave us at a higher talent floor. ideally, he becomes the AD for the canes
The truth is is always in the middle and both sides can be true . Mario will be a good program , good trenches , physicality , recruit well but will leave you scratching your head once or twice a year with his coaching issues. Everyone knew this was the deal in the beginning. So either you were ok with that like myself or wasn’t . I honestly get both sides. Some would say the ceiling has a limit but it’s a lot higher than it’s been the last 15-20 years.

Brother he’s a troll that’s been banned numerous times , nobody takes the clown serious. I block him and he still has to keep trying to get daddies attention. He’s a weirdo .

I have better post reactions than you do.

Oh, and it's "daddy's". Miami-Dade public education.

Not sure why anyone would want Mario to leave at this point. We have the best talent we've had in almost two decades. The season is half over and we're top ten.

Sure he has made some game day errors, but if he cleans that up, he will stack talent year after year and is not likely to bolt for another school.

Of all the dudes to go after, he picks you

In your opinion how much difference between Cristobal and Diaz or Golden if the latter two were given the same resources as Cristobal?

Recruiting is a skill. Money obviously helps. But it’s a skill. Sales is a skill. Mario is very good at it. He possesses that skill in spades. He also demands max effort from his assistants.

Here’s a prime example. FSU has very similar resources as Miami. Why doesn’t Mike recruit at a similar level? It is NOT because Miami pays more. That is not the answer and that’s a 100% fact. Overall, it’s because Mario is a better recruiter, and he demands his staff match his effort. Mike does not.

There is a fallacy on this board that anyone can recruit at this level here and we only have talent because of money. Again, totally false. Are there coaches who could recruit as well as Mario if they were here? Absolutely. Mario isn’t the best recruiter who has ever lived. But there are not a lot of them. And manny ******* Diaz ain’t one.

I think the Mario fluffer group is smaller than you think. JMO. At least on this forum.

Do you think HS recruiting ability is as important in the nil transfer era? I think Diaz landing Deriq King was impressive especially since it happened on the heels of the Enos debacle.

Saban is one of the GOAT recruiters but I think part of the reason he retired is that he found hs recruiting prowess wasn’t giving the absolute edge it did pre-NIL.

I might be in the minority but I think Golden was a very good talent evaluator and better recruiter than Richt at Miami

Golden just wasn’t likable and was an odd duck so recruiting would’ve never worked out. He found underrated guys but nothing like Mario. He’s better than Mario X and o wise but I’d take Mario. I know too much about Diaz so I don’t even want to answer that lol. So Mario

Just as important? Probably not. But it’s still very, very important. And you’re still recruiting even in the portal.

IDC about JUST this year or OTHER teams. I care about the guy who coaches OUR TEAM.

And as much as YOU, or anyone who wants to always come up with some excuse to defend Mario, facts are the facts and are all that matter.

What are the facts?

1. Mario has 6 losses as a double digit fave in 3.5 years at UM. More than any other HC in FBS during that pan. In year 3 and 4, when he has already instilled his "culture" and had his players, he has 3 of those 6. So nothing has changed regardless.

2. Mario has 10 losses as a favorite while HC at UM. 4 of those 10 have come in year 3 and 4. He has a total of 15 losses as a fave between OU and UM.

3. Mario has 9 straight years between OU and UM where he has lost at least 1 game as a double digit favorite. No other HC in FBS has accomplished that glorious feat during that span.

The point is a simple one. The facts show he does less with more versus ANY other HC in FBS. The facts show we are at a massive disadvantage versus opponents who have a schematic/X's and O's advantage against us.

I get it, you don't like facts and are a Mario defender. But, there is zero denying what Mario is and isn't as a HC.

As far as better overall resume, as of this moment we have a great win over 1 P4 team and 1 G5 team. FSU and UF are cheeks. Yes, great for us fans since they are our rivals, but those wins mean nothing except to us. We are a top 10 team. Not sure we have the best resume as you seem to

So after that exhaustive word salad, can you come up with these multiple teams beating inferior opponents with ease every week as you said?
