No offense, but we're a top 10 team right now and actually a relevant program again. We beat Notre Dame, FSU and UF this season. This dude is the best we're going to get now, and for the foreseeable future.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that a coaching search fires up the dopamine in our fanbase. The traffic is through the roof when we go through one of those.

If you think we've only "improved on paper", you're just not going to be happy no matter what we do. It's like when people were complaining that we only beat Nebraska 37-14 to win a national title.

I mean what that crap are you talking about?? Seriously. We have sucked for better part of 20 years, and he has done a really good job especially considering the current CFB landscape.

SEC and BIG10 are propped up by the media, given every advantage available, and get benefit of doubts from recruits.

Many of these high level recruiting battles Miami is the ONLY non SEC or BIG10 team in the mix.

We have slaughtered FSU, UF, and USF in back to back years, we are getting more talented, we are winning bigtime games, have a good chance of back to back 10 win seasons, and he has us in the playoff mix back to back years.

He has power, resources, and a dedication to this program no one else has or will have. Does he stink as a coach? You’re **** right he does. But he is a **** good program builder top to bottom that can identify, evaluate, and develop talent which has significantly raised the floor of this program.

He will never get over the hump. That is a fact. But he can consistently win 9 or 10 games which is very important to make this program attractive/desirable for not only the ever changing college landscape but also the next coach (whenever that may be)

I will never argue with anyone that says if you gave X coach this type of power and resources they could win more than Mario. But it is extremely unlikely that any coach will ever have the power Mario has so there is context to all of this

Everyone has their warts. We are in a better place today than a long time. However, look at Florida way better off with Mullen than Napier. Now what, grass is not always greener. I stick with Mario.

Mario will be more successful than most coaches out there.
