I will likely get jumped on for being too early on this, but I’ve been following camp reports for a very long time. The fact that the media has not mentioned meriweather one singular time is extremely disappointing for me.

We’re 3 days in to fall camp with media getting eyes on these guys and not one mention of him….. experience as a fan grasping to every media report of fall camp for decades tells me he is a non factor this year. I did not have that on my bingo card when we landed him in portal

Surgery set him back for sure but doubt we would get much of an update on that type of thing

I thought the same but @DMoney answered my question during q&a session on yesterdays live and said he’s full go competing.

Was that BS? Always a chance of that. But I don’t think he would have picked my question to answer if he had something to hide. I think Meriweather has more eligibility so maybe he’s more of a multi year development project than I anticipated. I saw snap count from UGA and thought at minimum he’s a swing on this inexperienced line

Hard to say at this point the way Mirabal moves guys around.

It's possible, but I've noticed the other reporters fail to mention his name when going over the 8-9 top OL on the team. So he's either unavailable or really far down list.

I mean what did y’all expect tho? He was at UGA multiple years and barely played there. I’m not sure why people were thinking he’d come in and just start grabbing spots. This isn’t a Manny Diaz OL room anymore.

My thoughts reading these posts as well. Always figured he was brought in for depth/development and never expected him to take a starting spot based on his history.

I thought he was going to be the swing o linemen at minimum. I may have overvalued what he brought. But he played a good amount of football at UGA. We have a very inexperienced line. If the young guns are ahead of him already I’m surprised by that but also very excited for those guys if so
