Fall Practice Summary- Day 7

What are they seeing?

The only thing I'll say is out of 3 who have been through and observed multiple practices, one QB has by far looked the best in their eyes.

Side note, all love Bandy. But this year's corner class is the most loaded they've seen in a long time.

Jarren probably the qb they felt looked the best and everybody loves bandy. If he was 5'11 he would be a 1st-2nd round pick.

Scouts think he'll be given 2-3rd round grade. Now where he is drafted could differ because again, this year's draft class is at CB is amazing.

That’s probably right for bandy, he will test very well but this is a deep cb class as you said

The caveat is that he takes the assumed next step this year. They aren't looking for some major leap from him, just your standard progression. Teams are investing much more in the slot corner position, which helps Bandy.

What buddy failed to mention is that was a punishment. He wasnt doing this out of sheer desire. He did it because he was punished.
Thanks for the insight @dsddcane. That's a bit of a strange punishment, IMO. I've heard of up-downs, sprints, pushups, etc.... as forms of punishment, but never heard of extra throws. Just speculating, but was the crime something involving not doing a particular drill the right way, or trying to correct mechanics?

Disappointing to read. Do these kids have any heart? Any will? Sick and tired of these soft *** kids going through the motions. Staff needs to bring in some motivated dawgs.

He isn't in trouble.

I understand. When I saw he was working after practice I thought, maybe things clicked in his head. When i see it was forced by a coach then it’s disappointing. If that were me, nobody would be able to take me off the field.

Perry throwing as punishment can’t be a good thing. Hopefully he corrected whatever it was that got him in the pickle to begin with. What time is the scrimmage later on today, and do you all think it will involve live QB’s or touch?

First scrimmage is today. We'll see how well everyone looks when the bullets are flying. Jarren Williams has to prove to me he's not competing with Brad Kaaya for greatest flag football quarterback ever.

we won't know tho right? isnt it closed to media
