Fall Practice #4; August 8th ‘26

I honestly haven’t been THIS excited for a season to start since the 2001 season, after we finished ranked #2 in 2000, and the BCS computers screwed us out of playing OU in the 2001 Orange 🍊 Bowl for the 🏆 I was in college at UM back then! This team is STACKED. Hopefully, the 2026 season will be a repeat of the 2001 season 🙏🏻 After all, it will be the 25th anniversary of the 2001 team and I’d say we are due 🤞🏻

I was surprised but I have heard multiple osu podcast guys say he was expected to step into starting role this season and they were surprised when he left. They thought really highly of him and I think cane fans have underestimated what we have at DT3 and DT4. Keona was already starting and thought of highly at Neb. our DT situation is absolutely insane.
 
Lake post impressive for Congdon given the all acc ability this year hype for Cantwell during spring.

"- Freshman offensive linemen Jackson Cantwell and Ben Congdon are being thrown into the fire and getting plenty of reps with the first team. Cantwell is getting plenty of looks at guard and tackle while Congdon is getting looks at guard. Both players are elite talents. At this stage, it appears Congdon is more ready to contribute right now, but both will certainly earn roles during the season."

I only know because I was apparently a bad human in a past life and got saddled with a few OSU friends for life that are tied within the program

Simpson sucked to lose. I was high on him when we recruited him. Carter is the better player though imo

I don’t blame people for nitpicking our DL depth but they falsely assume teams like OSU are loaded. They’re not. Everyone is hunting for DL depth and I think our 2 deep is as good as anyone

I know osu turn over was crazy when they went from Downs (who I know on here is thought of as severely overrated but kid is talented) to freaking earl little jr. The way they hype this kid up lol..
