Was at Coldplay concert at HRS it was hot and Humid as ****. ND will struggle with that, was sweating my sack off in my seats.

NO I WAS NOT CAUGHT ON CAMERA.

Hopefully the humidity holds, because I believe our identity this season will be built on the shoulders of our 3 backs & OL.

Lamar Jackson vibes

Difficult to keep up with NCAA rules but I believe there’s a mandatory “acclimatization” period along with the rules on how many full pad practices
Last time I played (10 years ago) it was by player so if a player was held out for whatever reason after the team started camp they would individually have to do the 5 day progression of pads separately.

Mario's mantra to the media has been "Lose Big, Lose Small, Win Small, Win Big". Well, going by his own words, this is the year we need to Win Big. If that is the case, I expect Emory to get plenty of playing time late in the 3rd and through the 4th quarters of several of our games.

I never had much faith in him pre-Iowa State, lost most of whatever I had during the Pop Tart Bowl. But I love a Rocky story. Looking forward to seeing if he can disprove the doubters.

Then we spent 1.5 million dollars too much

You’re wrong but we will confirm in a few weeks
This. If Beck isn't going to carry the team, it begs the question - who will? We don't have a franchise back, a reliable WR1, or a proven defense (yet, of course.) Cam carried the team as far as he possibly could and we still missed the playoffs. Beck will need to carry this team at some point or else our NIL money was grossly misspent.

Mario manhandled a stacked OSU team at the horseshoe with Anthony Brown at QB; he wants a signal-caller to manage the game well, keep the offense on schedule, and protect the football. Beck's plus passing-ability is an added bonus but it won't change Mario's approach, IMHO.

Cam was different because of his arm-talent and improvisational skills; coaches were willing to live with the ball in his hands because he was capable of doing special things. I don't believe Beck will be expected to do any of that. OL and RB are arguably the top two rooms on the roster and I fully expect we'll play to our strength.

Looking forward to 21 set, power football.

You think Beck came to Miami to play game manager?

He’s a former 4,000 yard passer that has been projected as a top 10 pick in the NFL draft

but yeah sure we paid 2.5 million to have him hand the ball off

Use your brain

Dawson didn’t call that offense with a hobbled Tyler Van Dyke but that’s what he’s doing with an NFL QB? This whole place needs a reboot.
