Agreed.. how cool would it be if #s like 20 and 26 were never given out to a safety until revealed when they enter the field on the first game? Almost like a way of rewarding the leaders for the entire off-season of hard work and at the same time setting some pretty high expectations on their shoulders. That would be a pretty cool tradition.

That said, I'm not sure why any S would want to wear #20 or #26. I doubt any Miami fan will ever think about anybody other than Ed Reed for #20 (and Damien Berry ) and ST for #26.
